Even she looked a little surprised and I couldn't help but think that if it had been a czech person the price wouldn't be so ridiculously high. But I was there for a birthday celebration so I stayed but definitely didn't spend another penny at the bar. My friend who was having the bday, she got stuck with a 3000czk bar tab because the waiter kept on bringing out trays of shots that nobody asked for. Since you usually have to pay at the bar, people assumed that someone bought the round as a birthday gift but actually the waiter was just bringing it and then asked for the money at the end. I strolled in hoping to find a quick and cheap outfit on the clearance rack - partly because I was out of clean clothes- and detergent. This H&M is on the larger side offering kids, men, ladies and home decor between the three levels. However, I strolled in hoping to find a quick deal and realized promptly that this H&M is more pricey than those in the US...and Switzerland! Not sure how that's possible when the currency is weaker. Maybe it all factors into the location in the heart of Prague along a bustling retail corridor for tourists. All this to say, don't stroll in hoping to find a killer clearance.
