[Review #450] 2019 Yelp 100 Challenge (102/100) Åhléns is one of many shops inside the vast Väla. Unlike the location in Ängelholm, this shop looks bigger but doesn't feel like it. I like the layout in Ängelholm better than Helsingborg. Still, Åhléns is one of my favorite clothing (department) stores in Sweden. This location also had plenty of "REA" (SALE) sections but I didn't find any particular deals that inspired my wallet, & the markdowns that I did see weren't as great of a deal as the Ängelholm store. :-| Since it's a franchise, I thought I would see similar brands & lines, but it felt different; the clothing lines are still current, well-made, & of durable quality... I was hoping to score some outfits for myself & LOs. This store does have a huge section dedicated to Pippi Långstrump. =) Sadly, my daughter has outgrown it; I believe the largest size is for an 8 YO. Since I didn't find anything on this trip, I'm not sure if you have to pull a # to pay for your purchase; I didn't recall seeing the take-a-number system queue ticket dispenser. I still prefer just waiting in line for your turn instead of the ticket system. Whatever your needs are, Åhléns is a quality store that has just about anything you desire... it's a definite must stop! Tip: Check for their REA signs throughout the store for discounts. read more
