Such a missed opportunity to do something great - super location, great mechanics yet ownership that only cares about squeezing every penny out of each customer. I spent thousands of dollars there over the last couple of years and really found the mechanics top notch. But the first time I had a problem, it could have been simply solved and the owner wouldn't even address it. I was shocked after being a loyal customer I could only image how he must gauge tourists. When I told him about the issue I never asked for a specific resolution (just wanted to let the owner Martin, know I was charged for work I didn't request and the work I did request was never done) he had the chance to take accountability and make it right. Instead he told me any problems were between me and the employees he "had nothing to do with it". A terribly spineless way to run a business. Imagine bringing your car in for a brake job and because the mechanics thought it was old looking they give you a new paint job but never do the brakes!! Stay away from here, there is a great shop in Les Houches and a super place in Sallanches. read more

I purchased some Fitwell splitboard mountaineering boots from Zero G, and they are great boots but unfortunately I wasn't sure of my correct Euro sizing and the boots were too tight. At first I was bummed to learn that the free return policy only applies to customers in France, but after I explained how I missed this info, the team at Zero G was kind enough to hook me up with some product credit to compensate for the return shipping cost and even took the time to take my advice on making the policy more clear on their site. Solid customer service to go with their great pricing on high quality gear. read more

Fantastic shop, very knowledgeable staff. I'm a yearly snowboarder for over 10 years now and have not upgraded my gear. I wish I did it sooner! I went to Zero G for boots and came out with a whole new set: board, boots and bindings! I am so happy with the quality of my new equipment. The guy who helped me was patient and happy to answer all my questions! I felt well taken care of and I'd happily go back if I need anymore snowboarding gear. Thank you Zero G! read more

Bought a new Korua snowboard, superb service. Really really happy because I didn't even imagine that you could get international shipping to Hong Kong. But first was the task of narrowing down my choices. I'd been wondering about this board ever since I saw the Korua brand on ZeroG's instagram (I'd visited the shop ten years ago, it's really grown alot since then) and tried a friends board last year, and the knowledge of the staff person really helped me nail down the model and size based on my riding needs, really top notch. And it's comforting to know that anything I ask has been tried and tested in house! Next was how was I going to get it back to Hong Kong, I started think about a friend who was on vacation in Paris, but a quick communication with the staff and all I needed to do was buy on the website. And then to my surprise the price was automatically tax free. Great experience all round, highly recommended shop. And the ZeroG stickers look great, make sure you get one! read more

Zero G is a snowboard shop at the far end of the main pedestrian street in Chamonix Mont Blanc. It took us a few days to find it, but its reputation preceded it with pretty much every ski shop staff member in town recommending we go there for snowboard stuff. I needed an obscure part for my splitboard binding and my wife needed to rent some gear for her and the kids. Zero G helped us quickly, politely and conveniently. I saw their archive of snowboard stuff, they literally have every single piece from every binding I can remember seeing over the years. It's great little specialists like this still exist. For the rental, it took a bit of time for them to set the boards up, because they were using Mission bindings and not crappy rental-specific ones, which was good I suppose, even though it took a bit longer. Made a huge difference on snow though, the family loved the experience. Thanks for everything, Zero G. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

Of all the snowboard stores in Chamonix we kept coming back to Zero G for all purchases. Best range and advice. Ask for Tom.
