A Magical Sushi Experience Zumo Sushi is truly something special. This place feels magical from the moment you walk in. Spotless, incredibly efficient, welcoming, and filled with genuine warmth. And the service was unbelievably fast! We would literally place our order and, moments later, the food would just appear, almost as if they already knew exactly what we were going to order. It was so seamless and efficient, but somehow never felt rushed. We felt like we were being served by a beloved mother figure who was taking care of us, with so much thought, care, and attention in every little detail. There was something incredibly comforting and special about the whole experience. And the FOOD... absolutely divine. The sushi was some of the best we've ever had. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. But I have to ask: WHAT IN THE WORLD DO THEY PUT IN THE SHRIMP?! I have never tasted shrimp that delicious. Seriously. I'm still thinking about it! Even the music was an unexpected treat. The playlist was so good that we actually discovered two new songs we absolutely love. Who knew we'd leave with great sushi AND new music? Everything about this place was wonderful. The food, hospitality, cleanliness, speed, attention to detail, and genuine care made this so much more than just a meal. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home and lovingly fed. We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. This is a small place with a lot of table tables for two. There were six of us and when got there, They put some tables together quickly so we could all sit together. I can't remember our waitresses name, but she greeted us with a smile, quickly got us menus and water. We ordered appetizers for the table. Calamari, crab Rangoon, and shrimp tempura , everything came out tempting at the proper temperature and altogether so we could get started with the birthday celebration. We also ordered a bunch of rolls and some sashimi. Everything was fresh and appetizing and yummy. They don't serve alcohol here, but you can go to the ABC store and buy it and they will give you glasses to serve yourself and they will keep your extra refrigerated till you're ready for more. First impression, one of the sushi chefs was so nice. The restaurant was super busy and he assisted us right away letting us know someone will be right with us. After waiting about 30 min, after we called ahead and was told there was no wait, we got a table. Unfortunately once seated, we didn't get water or any utensils until after about 20 min of being seated and we had to ask for some. Once our order had been taken it took over an hour to just get our miso soup. I had asked about our order and the waitress said it would be right out. A party of 6 who was sat at the same time was finished and paid before we even got one main entree. After only getting 1/3 of our order in the matter of an 1.5 hours, we were going to order more but then the waitress took the menu out of my hands as I was reading it. After that we just asked for the check and cancelled the food we never got. The food itself was really good which was so disappointing because the service was so bad. The chefs all seemed very kind but once it got super busy it seemed like the attention was focused mostly on large parties. read more

Zumo Sushi is a nice little gem tucked away from all the hustle bustle. I had the Zumo Roll because that should be their BEST roll if it's named after the restaurant right? Well, it IS. I also got the Blackhawk and it was equally as delicious. The next taste test for me was the fried rice. Usually it's uncommon for fried rice to be good at a sushi place but IT'S WORTH EVERY BITE.
