We spent 1.5 hours warming up, getting used to the flow, learning beginner level salsa, even Suzy Q salsa step. I've danced salsa for so many years but never actually took an adult dance class just for fun. It was the perfect date with my favorite +1 and such a fun way to do something different and learn something new with zero pressure. Kathryn was amazing and she made it so easy to learn. We had a full house and everyone was so fun to dance with no matter the skill set or experience, everyone was welcome. Absolutely love the revamped studio and how big and full of light the room is. There are so many classes on their schedule and so many fun things to try for adults only. Great space where no one takes themselves too seriously and you can come learn and have fun. Can't wait to do another fun class here again!

It has a nice family feel to it. All the teachers there are trained in ballroom and latin dancing. They are all very personable and will make your expierience a very enjoyable one! They will have you out on the floor dancing on the first lesson. The lessons are structured to meet the student's needs. You will come out of a lesson feeling accomplished. The studio offers private lessons for you to learn a particular figure or technique in a dance that you love to do. Group lessons are also offered to help reinforce what you are learning and also give you a chance to be introduced to other dances. Finally, weekly parties are held to allow students to practice their steps and gives you the opportunity to socialize with other students at the studio. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about Trumbull Fred Astaire. From lessons to dance parties to shows and competitions; you'll enjoy every minute of it!
