Foosbal table is kind of shoddy, and you have to pay to play, but there are also board games. Friendly service. I'm really not sure what the German reviews are talking about on about regarding the "Konzept" of the place - it's just a little neighborhood bar - but it's a good one!

I could easily spend long nights in here - great choice of beers, liquers and apertifs. Didn't sample the food but the menu looked good and any food coming pact to other diners looked basic and wholesome. We thought the service was great - we got chatting the lady behind the bar and she was very friendly. Charming.

Read the reviews and saw that it is a popular place and reservations are recommended. We were dining early (4:45) and thought it wouldn't be hard to get in with a party of two. We did get a table but under the condition that we'd be done by 6pm. By that time, we could see why. The place started to fill up. Both of our meals were excellent. Coworker had the schnitzel (I know someone who thinks that word is funny) and I had the beef tips in a mushroom sauce over spaetzle. Soooo, soooo, good! Plate clearing good. There is a full bar, draft and bottled beer. Our waiter was extremely friendly and fun. The interior decor is eclectic, plenty of things to look at to include the menu that has throw back adds that wee interesting to read. The staff seemingly all spoke English and they take credit cards.
