I love sitting down in one of their bulky chairs with an interesting book and relaxing with a big cup of chamomile tea. I was even successful to get my Dutch man hooked on Starbucks Coffee. All he drank was illy Coffee, until he met me. He stated Starbucks Coffee was overrated. So, I thought that I would prove him wrong, by buying him a bag of Italian Coffee. After that he was obsessed with Starbucks coffee, he no longer cried out for his European lattes. He soon craved every morning the regular taste of an American latte. Starbucks is good, however on the other hand, expensive but well worth every taste.I guess you pay for what you get! Starbucks Coffee Company continues to lead in brand of distinctive coffee on a global level. It's so refreshing to know if your in LA, Tokyo, Amsterdam or any major cosmopolitan city in the world that you always have access to them. It's a good place to stop in for a coffee on your way too or from work, but because it's really busy with people waiting for trains and busses (Sloterdijk is the hub for some low cost European bus lines) it's not a great place to come and camp out with your laptop to get some work done.

I've tried a few different cafes, but I keep coming back here. They have seven different types of chai tea lattes and I'm working my way through them. I had the pesto mozz sandwich my first time here and they have a variety of breads to choose from. Interior is spacious with big wooden tables to work and small comfy alcoves to sit and read. Lots of outdoor seating and free WiFi. What else can you really ask for?

What luck, because I had actually stared at Google Maps for longer than I care to admit to find this place and lo and behold, I just rolled up to its patio area by sheer coincidence. (It's really not that hard to find. It's next to Ketelhuis.) I got an espresso for sitting at a sunny picnic bench outside while an electronica music festival beeped and buzzed in the park. The espresso was one of the best ones I've had in Amsterdam and if I had any space in my stomach, I would have gone for some of the intriguing little pastries they had on display.
