Scam Scam Scam. This…read morecompany is a complete scam I would suggest not using them. I was a TriStar costumer for many years until I had a break in and found out this company is a scam as my home isn't connected to a monitoring call center even when I've been paying them for years. They scam austin residents by charging monthly monitoring service fee but they don't provide a monitoring service, other words, they don't connect your home to a monitoring call center. I only found out that my home security isn't working after I had a break in and they failed to deliver the only thing they are paid to do and that is security monitoring. Basically TriStar collects monthly dues but never actually connect your home to a monitoring service. They collect money for no service. After a quick email exchange with the owner he confirmed and admitted that my home isn't connected to a monitoring service yes continued to charge me monthly and isn't willing to credit my account or fix the monitoring service. The owners (husband and wife) are flat out rude and disrespectful to their long time customers. They blamed me for why my home isn't connected to a monitoring service while I am paying them to monitor my home. They claim that they told me that my alarm was not working two years prior (no record of the communication) however they thought it was ok to continually charge me monthly fees when they know they are not providing the security service they claim to provide. If you are running into the same issue with this company please reach out to me. Feedback to exiting or future customers: I would highly suggest business and home owners not to use this company as I really think they are a scamming austin residents. They will collect your money but in reality will not provide and real service. If you want to keep your family or business safe try to use a legit home security company. Feedback to the couple owning this company: I would really suggest that you put your customers first, listen to what they are telling you and do everything you can to retain them. You blame your customers for the service you are paid to provide but you don't. And last, collecting money from people when you don't provide the service you are paid to do and told your customers you will provide is fraud.

I've never used a cleaning service before, so didn't know what to expect…read more Joana, the owner, personally toured my condo and listened to my requirements. She agreed to my scope and provided an estimate on the spot. This is contrasted with other services that bid sight unseen via Yelp. Given my needs, I'm pretty sure that would not have gone well. My learning curve point was not staying out of the way. I did a little backseat coaching, which just caused confusion. Let the professionals do it there way. Do be there for a final inspection, but wait till they're done. That being said, the cleaner assigned to my home was definitely speed cleaning. And she did not have firmly in mind all of the scope. No big deal, since I was home when she started packing up, I was able to point out where extra attention was needed. Joana and her daughter personally came to steam clean my living room area rug and my old, much abused couch. The rug looks brand new! The couch looked better while damp but after drying it was still kinda dingy and the steam definitely didn't help the stains. Don't expect miracles if your rug/furniture needs true renovation. Everything moved so fast I didn't do the detailed inspection and later ended up seeing some missed, but minor, spots. If it was significant, Joana told me to call her and she'd send someone over to knock it out. My learning point here would be to have my scope in front of me while inspecting. Joana was fun to meet and is energetic and positive. I'm very happy with the results and wholeheartedly recommend this service.

It's difficult to care for things here as I normally would do, hence the reason I contact las Marias in the first place. I told Karen my first and biggest concern. I went into detail about my kitty's litter box needing a thorough cleaning including dumping all litter, wiping it clean and refilled. She said she would, "with pleasure." I was so happy to hear her response. Then, I let her know I needed help with laundry, vacuuming and mopping. So, I scheduled an appointment and was looking forward to her being here today. Karen communicated well before her arrival and regularly while she was here. As she was walking out the door I saw she did not touch my cat's litter box and there was loose debris on all of my floors. She didn't vacuum or mop my floors. She washed one item that should NOT HAVE been, as it's fragile. She PUT DIRTY clothes with clean ones. She created a situation where I have been cleaning after her. Now, I can't locate a sentimental designer piece that for 20 years I have cherished. Now, Karen WILL NOT respond and has caused me more stress than before she arrived. I'm sorry I gave her clothes, helped her with tasks, tipped her 15% cash and let her in my home.
