This is a the best vet clinic in Brantford in my humble opinion…read more The staff and vets are a breath of fresh air and a fine asset to Brantford & area.

If you are looking for the best care for your beloved pet and seeking to find a knowledgeable,…read morecompassionate and honest Veterinarian, you don't need to look any further than FAIRVIEW DRIVE PET HOSPITAL. I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Mulder, the staff and facility and encourage you to take your pet's here. I have been taking my dearly loved, furry family here for several year's and Dr. Mulder and his team have met and surpassed all of my expectations. I am "happy, happy, happy!" (To quote the Duck Commander!) The first thing you will notice when you enter FAIRVIEW DRIVE PET HOSPITAL is the cleanliness and how meticulous the staff are about hygiene. You are given a sincere welcome from the front desk staff as they promptly attend to the care of your pet and any address any worries you may have. The vet that I have the most contact with is Dr. Mulder and his desire to provide optimal care to your beloved pet remains his first priority and while doing so, he exhibits qualities such as genuine concern, honesty and integrity. I can guarantee you that his vast knowledge and high level of education combined with sincerity, patience and a gntle, loving manner is everything that I look for in a Vet. He is diligent without causing additional stress and anxiety to the animal or any fret and concern to you, the client. This is a business and as such by providing a service, it is therefore natural that a financial payment is expected. I would like to share a testimony of the moral, intellectual and sincere emotional qualities that distinguish Dr. Mulder from other Veterinarian's that I have had contact with in the past. Due to a personal financial hardship and after realizing that my beloved pet was terminally ill and needed to be euthanized, Dr. Mulder suggested that a payment plan be worked out at a later date. This type of empathy and understanding is seldom exhibited and most unusual from anyone owning and operating any type of business! The compassion shown and sensitivity to my given circumstance, will long be remembered. I have recommended FAIRVIEW DRIVE PET HOSPITAL to several people and they have confirmed that all of my claims regarding the personal and professional characteristics of Dr. Mulder, the staff and pet hospital are accurate and valid. In addition to their positive feedback and support, I am pleased to say that we are also in agreement that this center is no more costly than any other pet facility in this geographical region and the care provided has been unsurpassed! I can assure you, that you WILL receive the same consistent, high standard of attention, sincere compassion and dedication that my little pet family and I have been blessed with, from Dr. Mulder and the staff. *NOTE: I am not related to nor do I have any friendship or relationship with any person employed or associated with FAIRVIEW DRIVE PET HOSPITAL. I am a client of this pet hospital and this is a legitimate review.

I have only been dealing with this clinic for about 3 years....but I have been so impressed with…read moreevery aspect. I had originally dealt with another clinic for over 40 years and never had the carie and understanding that I received at Beatties . Dr. S. Qureshi and the other vets and staff are amazing. We recently had to deal with cancer in one of our Dog's, and the care and understanding we received while dealing with this tragedy was incredible. The 30 min drive is well worth the care and understanding received there. Thank you Brantford Clinic Sandra P.

1 Star - Compassionless clinic with zero respect for pet owners under stress…read more I brought my senior cat, Bambi, to Beattie Pet Hospital in Ancaster when she was unwell. After running tests, Dr. Davis diagnosed her with low potassium and diabetes, but instead of offering a realistic, supportive care path, I was quoted an astronomical $7,000 to $10,000 for emergency ICU hospitalization. When I chose to manage her supportively at home under palliative care, Dr. Davis and the clinic staff showed zero empathy or practical guidance. They could have simply instructed me to give her a veterinary potassium supplement, transition her diet to high-protein low-carbohydrate wet pâté, and give her plain chicken broth daily for hydration like I am doing now. Instead, with Bambi right there with me as they were about to close at 9:00 PM, they aggressively pressured me on the spot to put her down. They said, "Don't worry about our time. We don't have to close right at 9:00. We could still wait and do it right there. Call your wife, let her come by and meet us there." When I refused and said I was taking her home, they pressured me into booking an appointment early the very next morning to put her down--an appointment I thankfully called and canceled. When I brought her home, Dr. Davis and Beattie Pet Hospital repeatedly harassed me with phone calls and even reported me to Provincial Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) simply because I chose home palliative care over their demands. The reality of home care: * I managed her care at home myself by putting her on a high-protein, low-carbohydrate wet pâté diet, supplementing her potassium with Vetoquinol Renal K+, and keeping her hydrated with plain chicken broth and water. * Despite Dr. Davis's alarmism and extreme pressure to put her to sleep immediately, Bambi stabilized completely under my care. She is eating on her own, drinking independently, purring, rubbing against my legs, and using the litter box normally. * When Provincial Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) spoke with me following the clinic's report, the welfare officer listened to my actual home-care routine, recognized that I was knowledgeable and actively caring for Bambi, and closed the case immediately without even needing to inspect my home. Dr. Davis and Beattie Pet Hospital in Ancaster care far more about controlling pet owners than actually supporting animals. Pushing to immediately euthanize a pet when basic home care, proper diet, broth, and potassium supplements can restore a comfortable quality of life is shameful. Save yourself the heartbreak and find a clinic that actually leads with compassion.
