The store is more organized like business to business so it's not really made to to keep you browsing, but it's made for professionals to grab and go. Super organized. They would tell me to avoid the big box stores and just go here. Especially hair products. Happy Ithaca has one.

The "wax" she uses is soy-based and does not contain wax, making it a more natural and gentle alternative to traditional waxing. I've gotten my brows done here numerous times and loved the results. I especially recommend Skinique to someone new to getting waxed because Audia is guaranteed to make it a pleasant experience with her friendliness.

I called Audia to book an appointment, and she was able to squeeze me in that day, which was great! The process was quick and painless--her technique feels gentler than other places I've visited. The only downside of my visit was that Audia somehow got the "wax" into my hair, which was a bit of a sticky mess. I was a little surprised since my experience there went really well--perhaps this was just a one time mistake? Thankfully, the "wax" came out in the shower, but I was a little disappointed about that. I'm still deciding about whether or not I'll go back.

I had also lost Sherry, who often styled my hair at the same salon. I tried cuts a number of places where I could just stop in w/o an appt. I can't explain how disappointed I was when those cuts took less than 10 minutes over and over again as they trimmed an inch of hair off the bottom and called it done. Long straight hair can still be styled to take advantage of many details and this was exactly what I found again when I found Sherry yesterday at her own salon! She brought out swing and cut for hair and facial characteristics and I walked out feeling like 1 million bucks for not a lot more than I had been paying for drab and lifeless cuts.
