Pricing here is great has not changed in years. Finally this location is available 24hrs. Can access with APP. All kinds of different plans. All you can UV tan for $43 with tax. They have spray tan and all kinds of other stuff. Combo deals etc. Big selection of oils to choose from you can purchase during the day time hours. Stand up UV tanning only. No lay down. The rooms rotate where you end up and some of the times the UV bulbs and wattage are good and sometimes not so much. Good thing you can tan everyday because you just may need to. Overall this is my goTo place still better than others with pricing and quality. Can tan once every 24hrs with the unlimited tan. read more

Zoom tan has the WORST customer service!! EVER. You call and they make you email "management". They take over a week to respond. When they do, they never solve the problem. I've been double charged, promised refunds, and then they don't answer or honor what they say. THEY ARE THE WORST! Zero stars!! They need to switch out their company culture and put clients first. read more

So, just paid for a membership because I'd heard good things about South Beach Tan. It's now Zoom Tan and it's awful. Yu can only tan every 24 hours: so I tanned at 5:30 yesterday evening after work. Today I'll be off early and free at 3:00....I have to wait until 5:30 to go again. That's insane. How does this work for anyone???? I've paid for a month, but will be cancelling as soon as the month is finished. read more

Highly recommend. Always immaculate and the beds are fantastic. The manager, Tiffany, is so welcoming, informative and always has a smile. She has helped me develop my tan slowly, so I don't burn! Ladies on the weekend are also very pleasant. Great customer service. read more

Not great. Bare bones facility. They only have one type of bed so no nicer premium beds where you don't burn. The membership is really overpriced for what it is and add to that it's administered in such a way that you feel endlessly like you should have waited for months before signing up because they run specials after special and you can't ever take advantage of any of it. Be warned the first month is free or like $5 off their site. Their app which is a cybersecurity private data nightmare won't event pass this deal along nor will the girl at the counter when you ask about it. If your card on the membership flags your membership they won't contact you or pause your membership but just keep billing you without notice or letting you have a grace period. You CAN DO BETTEE AS A CUSTOMER. Why this type of idiocy still exists only passes in big cities where you can be mistreated till there's a big class action and you're used to it but here in Florida no thank you. I tell everyone I know what this place is so they can get the word out. I wish someone had told me. . read more

I have been tanning here for a year and I have not only developed the best tan ever but Kristy and lily have become 2 of my favorite people EVER. Both of them work the front desk on different days and are so knowledgeable about every tanning question you might have, they will always ask "Do you need an extra towel" They both know about all the lotions that zoom tan offers and what would be the best lotion for you. I used to work at a tanning salon 15 years ago so it's just so refreshing seeing the 10 plus stars they both deserve represent ZOOM TANNING in such a beautiful way. I go tan because of the relaxing environment and the gorgeous color I receive when I leave. Zoom Tan is the ULTIMATE TANNING SALON, you will keep coming back I promise you. read more

Decent pricing on tanning. I did the $20/month membership and you buy eyewear for $4. If you want water it's $1. About a week ago they got new machines and they literally look like a giant toaster oven! They have two handle bars but if you are short like me you won't be able to reach. Can't hear music outside of the tanning booth because it's very loud. They have a timer and you have 5 seconds to get into the booth before it starts. Thank goodness my friend was here cause she gave me all the info on it and the front person didn't. read more

I've been going here for awhile, the girls that have been working lately are just so sweet and nice. It's truly a joy to tan here especially when tanning is like a daily therapy for me. I love it! read more

After being on a monthly auto-charge plan for 10.99 a month for about 15 years, Zoom Tan arbitrarily raised my monthly rate to 42.90 and charged me this with NO NOTICE of any kind of the change! (BTW, I have not even used the service recently.) I have disputed the transaction with my credit card company, as Zoom is clearly unwilling to be ethical about this. I can't imagine that they will not lose a lot of customers over this. They are money hungry and willing to be fully unethical in their practices. read more

Has been great for years. New spray booths, awesome but PLEASE put some fans in those rooms or an AC vent something, anything to move around the air!! I've spoken to multiple employees there and nothing has been done. It seems counter productive to spray yourself with some vapor and not have a dry/cool place to get dressed afterwards. People spend upwards of $40-$50 a month there do sweat off their tan after they get sprayed? Yikes. Problem needs to be fixed. read more

I have been going to Zoom Tan for years for their stand up tanning beds and always had great service. Recently, I decided to try their spray tanning booths but had never really done it before. Lilly helped walk me through the process and maintenance of keeping the tan up without looking ridiculous. She answered all of my twenty plus questions with a smile and made me feel so much better about all of it! read more

I just wanted to let everyone know especially Nikki what an awesome thing happened to me this past weekend. I went spray tanning on Saturday and was helped by Lily and after I left she found my very expensive rings on the stool in my room. She figured out who was in there and I received a text asking me to come get some personal property I had left behind. I immediately realized I didn't have my rings and panicked. I called her to let her know I was on my way. In a world where there is so much bad I wanted to remind everyone that there are still good honest people out there. You have a real gem there (no pun intended) lol. read more

I can't begin to tell y'all how much I love this place!!!!!!! I just moved in down the road and had previously been a member at SouthBeach Tan which was too far away for me now and lemme tell you I don't miss them at all! I have tanned all over the country at probably at least 30 different salons and I have never been so impressed. Zoom's prices are unbeatable!!! Their lowest package is $9.99/month unlimited UV tanning! Most salons lowest package is $19.99 once in awhile you'll find $14.99. I love their spray tans the most! Their spray tans are so precise. The voice guide tells you to put your arms upin the air and one point and it does two passes so the under aide of your arm, armpits and aide boob (lol) gets tan as well. You don't look orange and you get excellent coverage!! You're all dry once the spray is done. No sticky gross feeling. The tan doesn't rub off and yes I'm referring to the bronze solution not the clear! And did I mention you don't stink after!? Dina was so pleasant, cheerful and helpful and she had a great tan too! Y'all are lucky to have her. I'd honestly love to work here lol but I checked and there are no openings per their website. There is also a blonde girl whose name I don't recall but she's super nice as well and her eyebrows always look great. Only thing I wish is that they were open later than 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. But that's not even a big deal honestly. If thats the worst thing I can say, then seriously they must be pretty great!!! Right? Right. Seriously go check em out! They're only in Florida, Georgia, New York and Pennsylvania as far as I know which blows my mind. You can tan at ANY of their locations nationwide with your membership which is convenient if you are vacationing and want to maintain your tan. People open some more up cuz y'all are killin' it! You can sign up online! (Remember to bring tour ID and credit/debit card you used to sign up with you.) No cash accepted. No appointments. read more

Zoom tan sometimes has promotions when you sign up for their text messages, so I come in for an occasional discounted spray tan. Wait times are sometimes a little too long. Patiently awaiting their new location opening in St Pete... much more convenient! Not all COVID measures are being taken here right now, so steer clear if you are high risk! read more

Horrible customer service. Continues to try to upgrade you and waste your time arguing about it. Try any other Zoom Tan or any other company preferably. read more

It's always clean and the girls are very nice. They change the bulbs on a regular basis, which is important, but even more important they tell you before you tan that the bulbs are new so you have the option to adjust your time. The music is pretty good and it certainly makes 9 minutes fly by, however it goes out on a semi regular basis, so minus one star. The price is great, I pay $20.00 a month and I get 9 minute sessions and it's enough to keep my color beautiful and even. Money well spent. I totally recommend. read more

This was my first time at this location. Overall the experience was great. Blonde girl working at the front was extremely polite and super helpful. As well as I got a beautiful, deep tan. I would highly recommend this salon and would come back. read more

Decided that I needed a tan.. This place is very nice, welcoming and convenient.. I did the clear spray tan and look forward to returning soon.. read more

Joined a month ago... everything is fine. Way better pricing than that sh** hole tanning salon that closed recently. Clean and modern UV booths (only stand-ups here). read more

The staff is super friendly and since I switched to this place my tan is coming along much nicer!!

Such nice workers who answered all of my questions with grace and positivity ! I will be coming back here to tan again!

I love this salon. Always get a great tan the girls are awesome convenient hours and a super deal.

Ive been thInking about getting a tanning membership for a while so I stopped in today after doing some research. Andrea was the lady working at the counter. She did a great job explaining everything to me and walking me through the process. I felt really comfortable starting a membership here even-though I haven't been in a tanning salon in over a dec--- umm, two decades. (Forgot how old I was for a minute!) Anyway, this place is great. Tanning salons have come a LONG WAY since 1995 when there were places with old bulbs and playboy bunny sticker tattoos. read more

I like zoom tan. I get spray tans as I have never, ever been able to tan naturally. I'm a burn and peel kind of girl. Learning on my part has been necessary but I feel like they have generally helped and answered my questions. Learning what looks best on me is why I gave it 4. They had me Start a little dark, looked a little too bronzed. Figured it out and everyone is so very nice. Not too salesy. read more

Awesome customer service, but I was a little upset that I drove here on my lunch break to tan for the first time since purchasing a membership and was told I couldn't tan without eyewear. I was offered some sticker like eye covers for 1.00and my card wouldn't work to purchase this for 1.00. I had cash on me and wanted to just hand her a dollar, but she couldn't take cash so I wasn't able to tan over this. Waste of a lunch break:(. It wasn't her fault she was following the rules, but it was a little extreme over a dollar pair of eye wear. read more

I used to love going to zoom tan! I gave the best reviews to people I knew about the salon. It was the only place I would go UNTIL they switched their tanning booths to these sideways BBQ grill looking beds. My tan was coming along so great and now I just burn unevenly and sweat to death. These beds are awful and I have heard it from so many people including my own experience already. Anyone I know that went to zoom tan closed their account and sought another salon after their experience in the new booths. I go in for 9 minutes and from the moment you step in its like you are being blasted with heat, fans are terrible and do no justice. After the first minute your skin is burning, your heart is pounding, your sweating so bad and it's impossible to stay in and get an even tan. This kind of thing has never happened to me using the other beds. They are much smaller than the other beds and very uncomfortable considering you are now standing on a metal slate with holes in it. I have been a customer for quite some time now but am seriously considering closing my account and going to another salon to tan. These new beds are awful! Please consider going back to the previous beds. They felt less damaging to the skin. read more

I have always bragged to everyone about this place for years. Honestly, no other place around compares to the quality of the spray tans - believe me, I looked around all over the place even the places who personally spray tan you. The booth does measure you so it is even and not orange one bit. Get compliments on it all the time. read more

NEVER AGAIN!! This was the WORST experience I've ever had in my life! I came in for a light peachy glow before my daughter's wedding & left with the worst & most painful burn ever!! After just ONE 9 minute session!! Ridiculous!! Their new standing Fryers of Death are HORRIBLE! I had been a member a couple of years ago & came in several times a week for a MONTH & got a great base tan before a work cruise. So that's why I was so shocked this time. They completely RUINED Memorial Day--I couldn't leave the house for nearly a week! I couldn't tolerate any clothes or sunlight!! I barely made it to my daughter's wedding!! I called 24 hours after my ordeal and the desk jockey I spoke to couldn't care less!! The generic response I got from their 'Resolution Desk' anonymous email center was even worse! I am reporting them to the Board of Health. There is NO WAY these pods are safe. DO NOT TRUST THIS CO! Btw: I am Greek/Italian descent and have never been burned like this before--either outside by real sunlight or with other indoor tanning salons. read more

I live in Sarasota and usually go to the location downtown. Although no complaints about my regular spot, this one beats it. It's larger, better aesthetics, and you can hear the music loud and clear while tanning (yay!). Will definitely check in every time I'm in St Petersburg, which is at least once per week. Very friendly staff, too. read more

Every time I come to Zoom Tan, I have a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly, and I leave the booth already looking tan! Definitely the best UV tanning place around. read more

I stopped by Zoom Tan in December 2017 as they were convenient. I have been tanning for over 30 years so know what to expect. I wanted to try a month to month for the longest tan time but was told the only way they would accept a month to month would be to text you a pass code to sign up. I don't text so I was told I could sign up for a yearly membership. I did so for the 6 minute package since it was the least expensive. I thought how bad could it be. Wrong decision on my part. Like others have stated, no change in skin tone or color. I immediately contacted the company to cancel my membership and issue a refund. Their response was for me to pay more money to tan longer. I placed a claim with my bank stating my dissatisfaction with the company and the lack of results. After 4 months of waiting, my claim was denied by Zoom Tan. Bottom line they are only interested in taking your money and not making their customers happy. read more
