I have visited this store many times because it is just around the corner from my mother-in-law's house. I recently purchased an orchid for my mother-in-law because she loves them. They have so many plants that are healthy as they grow in this tropical climate. The plants really thrive here, which is amazing and a stark contrast to the flora in Ohio. They have a great selection and the staff is friendly and willing to speak English to me. I'll always go here when I need flowers in San Juan.

Wine is a little more expensive in PR than on the mainland, but the prices here were reasonable, considering, and we picked up some Yellowtail for $9.48. Rum is always a good deal on the island and we scored a huge bottle for $18.98 that lasted us the whole vacation. They also had good prices on local coffees. I picked up three bags of Yaucono Dark for $4.98 each. Prices for some personal care items that we used on the vacation like shaving cream, nail polish remover and beauty wipes were similar to Walmart prices in our local area (MA/ RI). Note that the tax here is a bit killer though at 11.5% and both liquors and wines are taxed. No tax on food items, like coffee though.

It's helpful that the store never closes and they have plenty of lanes to check out. Sadly the self checkout lanes are closed around 11 pm. The produce seemed fresh and all the foods I was looking for were fully stocked. Just know if you come after 12 they are mostly stocking the store. It's very clean, I know I said that at the top but must repeat!
