So when one opened on our doorstep at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield we could not believe our luck. My wife and I plus two friends went on our recommendation to the Prezzo restaurant at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield on Valentines Day. We could not book a table until the 21.30 sitting but that did not cause us a problem. We arrived at 21.25 and were shown to a table within 5 minutes. It then took a further 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order from the set menu for that evening. It then took 20 more minutes for our starter to arrive. We then got a different waiter who brought our main course again after a 30 minute wait. At 22.50 I had to ask someone if they would take our dessert order. Waiter number 3 took it. The other two waiters had already left for home. Whilst waiting for the dessert my wife, like me was very embarassed as we had told our friends they would have a great night, said she would get another round of drinks so at 23.05 she went to the bar to order them only to be told it was too late and after licensing hours. I suppose they haven't heard of the supper hour extension. She sat back down and the manager came over to apologise saying it was the busiest night since opening. He did give us a round on the house to compensate for what he himself described as not the usual Prezzo service. I have to be honest and say that the food was excellent but the poor slow service let them down on this occasion.

My little girl wouldn't eat any of hers and I decided to ask for a refund. I had eaten less than half of the small personal sized pizza I had for myself. So I returned well over 75% of the meal. I asked for the manager, which caused some confusion. Not sure why. "The manager" told me she couldn't refund me and she would give me an email to send my refund request too. She went in the back and which two other members of staff from the back could be clearly seen staring, pointing and discussing me. One mouthed something which I'm certain was about my ethnicity, but don't want to go down that route. I told the "manager" she should tell her staff to be a little more subtle next time and left. When I attempted to email (it was an hand written email address) the email bounced back! I found the email eventually. The particular chain didn't reply back to their own company for 3 days, to confirm I had returned items. When I said I wanted to escalate the complaint I've been told I can't as I've accepted a refund. I haven't they don't have my bank details. I did, in the end mention the racial element and they have offered me a £20 voucher that can't be used with any other offer or deal!!!! I mean really! Just disappointed and generally disgusted! And they can't claim They don't know that I haven't received my refund as they asked me to supply my bank details in the same email! Astounded

Its a small, counter service establishment, which doesnt serve the full pizza hut menu, but instead has a limited range of popular flavour pizza slices - such as margherita, peperoni and so on - to select from, along with a limited assortment of sides and drinks. Service is quick, and the food is hot and generally ok. Prices, for what you get, are on the expensive side. Its an ideal place to use as a stop off for a snak if you're in the mood for this kind of thing, but if its a full meal you're looking for then there are a couple of pizza restaurants in and around the food court which will meet your needs a little better and provide better value for money.

I've been to Frankie & Benny's in Doncaster a couple of times and it has been great, so myself and my friend Ana went for lunch here. Initially when we arrived it was pretty busy, so we were given a device which was to beep when there was a table available for the two of us - a great idea in my opinion instead of turning people away, and we went for a drink in Coal bar (about 30 metres away). We took advantage of the lunch offer and got a starter to share, two mains and a dessert to share, all of which came to about £10, but we also had drinks and milkshakes which brought the bill to £13.50 each. That was very reasonable, we had to leave half of the dessert because I was stuffed to the brim! Great food - I had an amazing burger for mains, we shared garlic doughballs for starters and chocolate brownie with cream and ice cream for dessert. Also, as you know I like to mention staff, well done to the incredible waiter Arron (I assume this was his name as someone at the bar called him it) who served us quickly and with a smile, you definitely deserved our praise and tip! 5 star experience F&B's!

It wasn't busy, perhaps one third full and they had a pleasant, unpushy lady at the entrance tempting in passing trade. Once inside we waited at the desk for several minutes until we were scooped up by a passing waiter and offered a choice of seating (inside\outside) Service was slow but I did feel sorry for our waitress as there were obviously few staff on duty. I chose a steak wrap with fries and son chose fish fingers with fries. My steak wrap (tender strips of prime steak with red onion and peppers smothered in sauce) held a goodly amount of fat and sauce and a few bits of onion, lean meat and peppers. I'm told the fish fingers were nice. For desert we both chose fruit salad (because we care about out bodies) but there was good news and bad news. Good news the fruit was fresh. Bad news we knew this because there were still bits of pineapple skin in there. My son was a little put out because the menu assured him that he would get three fruits he likes and so he didn't mind giving away his kiwi but when his dish arrived there had been major substitutions made. We had opted for special deal meals but the price was still too high for the quality of food. As to portion size well, they wouldn't amuse a real New Yorker!

I spent a memorable - for the wrong reasons - meal at Alfonso's a few weeks ago where Halit the waiter told me the Asparagus Risotto on the specials menu as a starter was NOT on the specials menu as a starter, until I stuck to my guns and he went off to fetch the senior waiter (who knows something about the food they serve) to take my order. My girlfriend and I then watched and chuckled as for each time something was ready in the kitchen, the bell rang, Halit and his brother ran into the kitchen, then they both ran back out, one with the food, neither knowing where it needed to be delivered. All great entertainment, but not exactly good service. In fairness, Alfonso and his head waiter CAN tell you about the food and have got a clue and you probably will have a good time here. All in all, it's worth a visit because they do bother to cook the food to order and because it's leagues better than the dreadful pizza joint at the top of the hill.
