Nice surroundings, good service and good (but not amazing) food.
This place can also get a bit manic in the early evening as it seems to be very popular with families - pop you head in; if you don't mind screaming kids (or have your own) then head on in... but it's worth having a backup plan.
I do really like this place; but more just for the general surroundings; and it's also one of the better restaurants at that end of Didsbury.
The sharing platters are a good choice for starters, as for mains, I do find that many of them are very similar in terms of cream-based sauces on pasta (just check the menu) and the crab linguini that I had was a little bland.
