Severe language barrier!! The last two times I've been 2 different nail techs have picked out the incorrect dip color. Today I came in with dark brown nails and told her I wanted the same color, still picked out the color for her and she continued to pick out the light purple color next to it. I felt like I was nice enough by telling her that's not the color I picked out, she proceeded to tell me this was a new color that I've never had before. I politely asked her to go get the book again and showed her the color by comparing it to my toes that were done there 2 weeks ago with said color. I had a wonderful experience this evening! I came in to have an old set of acrylics removed and a fresh set of pink and white acrylics applied. Amy was my nail tech, and she was absolutely amazing--so sweet and attentive! Her daughter started the removal process, and Amy took over to complete my new set. Being new to Texas from Arizona, it took me three different salons to find the right one, but I finally found my go-to nail girl! And the complimentary wine was a great bonus. This is my go to place! I will say they have had multiple different managements over the years but the latest one is a woman and oh gosh.... Shes great! Manages so well, always has a smile, never makes you feel like they are just trying to get your money and push you out. My favorite nail techs are Winnie, and Ice. *The only reason for 4 stars is that the gel polish is an additional $20... every other nail salon I've gone to in my life is $5 more or no extra charge... so I wouldn't recommend if you are a gel girly. I have a gel machine at home for when I really want it, or I go somewhere else. Ill add pics next time I go in! I go monthly cuz I love them! read more

I cannot recommend this nail salon. I had gel done on my hands and feet. I had 2 nails fail within days of getting them done. I went back and had them fix the two nails. Now, I have The same two nails failing and chipping again. It is frustrating to me. I've never had gel do this from other salons. read more

So. I love a good pamper day. If I want it, I get it. So I go to this shop with family in tow. Everyone can get what they want. I read all the things and know about where we should be at checkout. Not a problem, just like to know. I usually get square nails, the young man told me that almond would be better. I tell him that I trust him and never thought more about it. Then I pick my length, not too long but not too short. Turn out my nails are considered long and more like stiletto, not really what I wanted but okay. They will work for the 2-3 weeks. Go to pay and we all had some extra charges on our ticket. The shape I was talked in to, was an extra charge and no one said anything to me about it. Oh and this length is considered long at this shop. I also asked for a new acrylic full set. I understand every place is different, however in all of my history of getting an acrylic full set, this is the only place where I have ever gone that the tips are not included with the full set. I don't have a problem paying for any services. Especially if I want them. I just like to be told and given the opportunity to make the decision for myself. read more

Wow! My 3rd time here and I love this place! I tried 2 other nail salons in the area and did not return. First, you walk in and see a beautiful salon with colored up lights, multiple tvs, designer chairs for both hands and feet and a beautiful bar with bar stools and bar top! They serve drinks and wine for free! Each time I get a free moscato! They also do holiday specials and give first time discounts! So today, I went in to get my nails done and I asked my nail tech if they had 4th of July stickers for my ring fingers. She said, well I can hand paint even better than a sticker. So she did! I was so impressed! Not only is the quality of nails perfection, nail art and all, but every staff member is so nice, smiling and truly seem to enjoy their job and pleasing their customers. My experience here was the worst experience at any nail salon I've ever been too, and I will never return. After seating me in a chair to get my pedicure, nobody came to greet me or even speak to me for 30 minutes. After my water got ice cold, somebody finally came by and refilled it to make it warmer. After 10 MORE minutes, my pedicure / manicure began (they do them at the same time). The pedicurist did a lovely job, however the TWO manicurists I had to have did such an awful job I'm actually appalled. I showed both the photo of the nail look I was trying to go for, and BOTH said they could do it, although that definitely wasn't the case. The first lady put down my base and such, glueing my nails sideways and cutting them to different lengths. The second lady came to do the design, and couldn't draw a simple star, and constantly got up to run back and forth from the back to snack with the rest of the staff. Overall, my experience was horrible. I'm disappointed, and more angry at the fact I wasted my time and money at a salon unworthy of both. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get your nails done. Take my word for it. read more

This is 4 days later and the cuts were so bad from the drimmel. It's painful-- and after I was cut, he put cuticle oil directly on the cut and put the brush back in the cuticle oil!!!! Ziva's is good. I really enjoyed the pedicure that Lynn gave me. She was so sweet. They worked in a group of 5 of us on a Saturday afternoon really quickly. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is their prices. They are higher than every other nail shop. Like usually with any classic pedicure I would get some type of callus removal, and it would cost about $25... Well their classic pedicure is $28 and you don't get any type of callus removal. For callus removal, the cheapest is the Sport Pedicure $39! That's RIDICULOUS! Then other specialty pedicures are usually $40 -$50 at other places. Well at Ziva, expect to pay $80! The service is not worth the extra cost, go somewhere cheaper if you want special luxury. It was my hubby's first pedicure. I splurged and got him the Sport! We overpaid! read more

Very disappointed. I have been to this place and have never had a problem. My daughter and I got our nails done on Saturday we both did the dip with tip and I loved the design they did on mine. The problem is that it's been 4 days and two of my nails have broken and 4 of daughters have also broken. I am not sure if they changed the product they are offering to a cheaper one but for $55 they should last at least two weeks like they always had before. I always love going to this nail spot, but this time was not the case. I wanted to get my nails taken off and that had taken about 25 minutes. They lady doing my nails brought her kid and the kid kept asking me abt my color choice and why I should change it. She also kept trying to bend the hurt nail I had resentful broken. Was not the best experience, she would roll around in her chair all across the lounge. Not to mention the nail polish I got put on would not stay after I left and I had to redo do them myself when I got home. The lady doing my nails was very kind tho but I would rather her not bring her child to work, while I was getting my massage she kept touching my nails and messing them up.
