BEWARE... CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS!! They over-charged my account 3 times. To make up for it, they gave me 2 months free. The 2nd time this past December, they charged me $35 instead of $25 so I insisted they refund the $10 over charge and to make it up to me, they put me on this promotion: BASIC PLUS $15 Effective: 01/05/2024 - 04/04/2024 After that, it goes to $25 a month. Imagine my surprise to find a pending charge last night for $45! I emailed customer support last night. No response, so at noon CST, I called and the agent wanted to offer me a month free and said i had to wait for approval for the $30 refund. While waiting on hold for almost 20 min, I read another yelp review where zips refused to give a refund to someone who had canceled but she hadn't noticed they continued to charge her card for 6 months ($210!!) so i asked to speak to a supervisor. Waited about 30 min to speak to a supervisor. She refused to cancel the Pending charge of $45 and correctly bill $15. She blamed the system. The system felt i should not have the promotion they offered (in writing by email) so the system decided to add $30 to my February bill. Absolutely Ridiculous...No more chances and I reported the fraud to my bank and provided the email so they can cancel the charge. In response to my cancelation email, zips customer support said the cancelation would take effect next month... since my bank is going to cancel the charge, i consider my account canceled. IT IS FRAUD when they seem to consistently over charge. Update: a few minutes after posting this review, I got an email stating they have canceled my account and refunded the $30...my guess is someone saw the review and pushed they the refund so they could argue against the $45 charge being canceled. I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews. This place has been my go-to since I got my new car. They were running a deal for t-mobile customers and I will definitely be a long time member going forward. The attendants are all helpful and nice and my car looks great after such a quick wash. Great suction on the vacuums that come free with every wash. They've got towels you can use and huge trash cans that are always empty ready for use. Not only is their car wash sub par, but the vacuums are frequently broken, and the air hoses have the weakest pressure to them. The last time I came through the guy would not give his upselling a break. He offered a $20 deal through May and I declined. He then pushed it even more explaining the advantage, I said no thank you. He looked at me like I was crazy and asked why, I said I didn't want to spend $20. I drive a sun damaged old Honda, I don't get it washed often. The worker not only cleaned the for me, he also carried them back ty car and laid them out to dry. When I was finished vacuuming my car I was surprised to find my mats cleaned and looking like new. The area is always well manicured. The trash cans are new and clean with no garage in sight. It is easy to see that the Zips crew on Pat Booker Rd are at the top of their game. I would not recommend this carwash to anyone. Came by here to get the $5 car wash and came out paying $12 for a lousy wash with dirt stains still on the car. Was going to help myself at the kiosk but the attendant came up and said he will do it for me. I told him I wanted the basic wash which in my mind was the most simple one for the $5 so he swiped my card then I looked at the receipt it was $12. Wish that he hadnt come to my window in the first place. And I wouldve let it go if the machine at least did a good job but the dryers didnt even work, my car came out all wet and with dirt stains still on the car. Just be careful how you word your choice if the attendant comes up because otherwise you will get screwed paying a lot for their "basic $12" wash. I had went in the cancel my membership because I had totaled my car and I recently saw on my credit card statements that they've been charging me for six months without having a car. I requested a refund and they denied it because they said there wasn't a request for a cancellation but I swear I went in and talked to them in the office to cancel it. Now they won't refund me my $210 and only gave me a month of free wash when like I said I do not have a car. Be careful with the employees because they clearly did not understand. I purchased a new 2019 Kia sorento as a test trial. Was allowed to return it after 5 days. I decided to return it for an upgrade and wanted to wash it so it could look good for appraisal. After going through the zips car wash I noticed what appeared to be rubber waves from the gas tank to door and 2 deep scratches. I asked the employed who sprayed my car if he saw the scratches and marks and he said no. I asked for a manager (Maria). She started rubbing away all the rubber marks and i asked her to stop! Then she took pictures and said that no other car had marks, and that it was only mine. Read reviews here and on Google. After reading reviews isn't the first time this has happened and people pay out of pocket and contact ATTORNEY GENERAL. I also learned things get stuck in the washing flaps and do leave marks and scratches. Esp of a vehicle was dirty from off roading and has rocks.l and it can affect the next car in the wash. Maria (manager on duty) said she will call me in 48hrs to let me know what they say after she reviews the camera. I'm now stuck with this car after using it a week. Our family needs a bigger car and as of now we are stuck with a car. We can't afford to buy another car. Ill update my reviews after hearing from Zips. I purchased a membership there and had it for about a year or less. The quality of the car wash is not worth the amount you pay. There is always residual dirt left on the car and it typically needs to be washed again. I recently moved and attempted to cancel my membership. It was a third party from the phone number they have online. The individual on the phone claimed to have canceled my membership. I received another charge the following month. I reached out to them again through email and received a confirmation and was not charged the next month. I recently saw on my bank statement 3 charges after I had cancelled with them. I attempted to email and contact them via phone and they have still not responded. I will be disputing with my bank for fraudulent charges. I highly urge anyone considering purchasing a membership to be careful and ask questions about their cancelation policy. It's a normal run of the mill car wash. There are several different choices to select from. Once in the care wash I noticed it did not wash all of the soap off the car. The right side seemed to not spray any water out as I went through. Once at the end the light that should come on to let you know the wash is over did not come on. This wash seems to need some maintenance. If these issues especially the water to wash the soap off were fixed it would be a descent car wash. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! This place really shouldn't have any stars. My car was damaged in the wash. I spoke to a worker who was wearing orange glasses and claimed to have a cracked rib. He had facial hair as well. I showed him the scratches done to my car that is brand new. This is the first wash it's ever had as it's a 2019 And purchase 3 months ago. He told me that the markings should buff out. The employee also told me that I should be happy the damage wasn't worse as earlier in the day nails had been stuck in the fabric of the wash and was doing "some real damage".
