The quality is just not there. You leave with a wet car-the lack of drying is just disappointing. You leave with spots all over and the tire shine never actually gets on your tires. As soon as you pull out, you want to go elsewhere to clean it for a 2nd time. Will not be returning in the future. read more

Today I cancelled my car wash membership. Since Zips bought this property quality and service have steadily declined. The air blowers--even with the previous company--have always been an issue by leaving far too much water on the vehicle. However, the so-called free vacuums are now an issue. (They're not free because you have to purchase a wash to access them.) It's dicey whether you'll find a spot where vacs work on both sides of the car. Due to non-operating and broken vacuums I moved my car four times and did not find machines working on both sides. I eventually vacuumed one side, then moved the car to finish the other side. Small air pistols previously allowed me to blow off excess water on windows. After multiple tries I found none working today. I simply haven't been getting my previous value and am now paying more. There are also many more nearby car wash options than even a year ago. On the plus side, employees were friendly and helpful in canceling the membership. read more

Decided to buy a $30 premium wash after working out at the Planet Fitness next door. I was very underwhelmed when exiting with the amount of water left on my car. It was dripping in several spot with beads of water over the entire thing except for the back which hadn't been cleaned at all in several areas towards the middle, still showing dry, old water spots from the previous rain. This car wash is far shorter than it needs to be for all it promises to do, particularly with the drying. I also noticed no difference in my tires or wheels with the 'tire scrubbing.' read more

Wednesday was my first time using one of these big car wash places that have been popping up in the cities. I was in the area and thought I would pop in for a good wash on my truck. I made sure to choose one that sprayed the undercarriage since we had rain recently, well that was pointless as my husband found dried chunks when he was under it today. Whatever was used on the wheels ran onto the tires and made it look like a dog peed on all the tires. The back bumper still had dust on it and the whole passenger side had water spots. I won't be coming back and don't recommend them either. read more

Without much fanfare, this place has recently switched to being a Zips, though they're slow to add new signage. I had a monthly membership with the old place and it seamlessly moved over with the change. The exterior only roll-through wash is pretty quick, the dryers do a satisfactory job and there are always plenty of vacuums available. There's also a self service mat washing machine. I started the membership in early September with monthly bill on the 10th, renewal of $25, and then saw a bill for $45 on my CC at mid September, before the billing date! I cancelled my membership over improper billing, this place is not good - don't sign up to memberships. read more

I did the $10 for the first month and they told me they wouldn't automatically charge me for the next month. But guess what they did: charge me $40. So I called and was understanding that sometimes technical difficulties arrive and they said they would let me have my membership for 'free' for two more months but they don't do refunds, so I didn't get my money back. So, a month has passed and guess who just charged me $40 again after they said they took my card off file. So now I'm pissed. :D don't do business here. It's a scam. read more

Paid $18 for a car wash that didn't even wash my car fully. My windows are still very dirty. I parked in four different spots and only found one vacuum that somewhat worked. the other three I tried didn't even do anything. No rags were offered to wipe off the windows after the wash which I thought was just standard at this point, but I guess not. I felt like I was being judged after I declined the membership not once, but three times because they kept on pressuring me to buy three months of membership. read more

Apparently the former Blue Iguana has transitioned to Zips Car Wash. Other than the actual Blue Iguana missing from all of the signage I did not notice any changes here. The dryer still barely works and whips the remaining soap into a nice random spot pattern just as it always has. I stop by for a $5 wash when I'm in the neighborhood. Second time running through this car wash with my Ford F-150. Bought the top dollar wash for the second time. It failed to clean bird droppings off the hood. It does a terrible job on the spots it hits and it doesn't even hit all panels and windows. I will not be returning to this location. It is a total waste of money. read more

Please choose a car wash other than Zips. I signed up after going there on a promo day. Every time I went there there was an issue with the car wash, not reading my barcode. Sometimes I would sit there long enough, and they would just trigger a wash, other times they would come out and ask if they could help me, other times I would have to go beat on the door so that they would come out and do something. Today I went there again it would not read my barcode, even though they had promised me profusely that everything was fine. They said they would fix it, five minutes later, it has still not been fixed. I backed up and beat on the door again, and they promised me that they were taking care of it. As soon as I got home, I called the corporate office to cancel my subscription. Interestingly enough, they will never give a refund. It doesn't matter what kind of customer service you had or the fact that they are unable to fix their technology. They will only offer you another contract at a discounted rate. There are many many choices in O'Fallon for car washes. Please do not use this one, unless you love frustration and anger to be part of your day. It doesn't do that great of a job on your car, either, not worth the trouble. read more

went to get a carwash. they talked me into a membership. everything went great all year until it got cold so i wanted to cancel my membership. went online in september and canceled it and they still charged me after i canceled. talked to someone at the main office and they said i didnt cancel it and wouldnt give me my money back, and they could even see that i have not been to the carwash in 2 months. they like to steal your money and horrible customer service. they should of given me my money back. read more
