The attendants used to be so peppy and friendly. Now they are on their phones and just spray your car to slightly wet it. To vacuum your car, your playing Russian roulette. Half the vacuums either don't suck at all or barely suck. I have a membership to them that I have kept for 4 years. I was going to cancel membership, but they are putting in a Ronnie's car wash in front of Milton La Hacienda (zips membership works there as well). When I asked for a refund the guy said he had to turn that side off because of a hydraulic leak. SO HE KNEW THE CARWASH WAS BROKEN! They are robbing people. What a joke. This place is the biggest SCAM! My MIL signed up for a ONE time monthly special $19.95 and she's been charged $37.45 every month since! She never signed up for any continuous monthly fees especially not for $37.45. This is absolutely ridiculous. She's called time and time again and was told that they can't find an account OR a debit card on file for her. The call center isn't worth a damn to fix the situation either. This place needs to be reported to the better business bureau over and over and over again until they close up for good. I have visited this location several times since it has become Zips, (used to be Ronny's) and I am beyond disappointed! The soap is never rinsed completely off and then the "dryer" just blows the soap all over the windows and mirrors. Wheels clean? Hahahahaha...NO!!! I found the Zips car wash in Milton at point of opening was a great value. Since I find it quality of wash, lack of wet tire drying towels etc, is continuously diminishing. Also the price increase might cause you to think things are good for the Zip car wash franchise. The right side of that wheel scrubber does not work. The employees know this and do nothing to clean the wheels personally. The right side scrubber does not even touch the car to wash it!!! Definitely the best car wash in the area. Loving the free vacuums! Only problem, which is typical of car washes - doesn't always dry off your car. Luckily they offer free industrial paper towels near the vacuums so you can dry off anything that needs it. read more

The car wash is decent, but the so-called "buy one, get one free" "deal" is a scam. You must use your free wash within a week of purchasing your first wash, which is absurd. This carwash is horrible. There is never a time that I go through and everything is working. I have three cars on the monthly plan and I am cancelling all three of them. I would rather wash it by hand then let them anywhere near our cars again. My daughter took her car through and they put three cars like only a foot apart and did not even pay attention to the fact that the first car's wheel was not on the track properly. Half way through the wash the tire of the first car came off the track and all three cars hit together. The employees acted like there was nothing they could do and sent them on their way. If they don't get you car lined up properly your high dollar rims will get damaged by scraping the railings. This actually happened to me. I went to Zipps today. There were no attendants in view, after waiting, one attendant came around the building talking on his cell phone & motioned for me to wait. After he got off his phone, with 4 cars in line behind me waiting, he halfway cleaned my windshield, then sent me through the wash. When I drove around the building, I ran over pvc pipe laying in the middle of the drive. It shattered & flew everywhere. Fortunately, it didn't damage any cars. There is a clear difference between Ronnie's and ZIP's. This used to be our favorite place to get the cars washed. Now I hesitate going. Today, I went to wash my car. The attendants went through the effort of cleaning the windshield and but didn't have their heart in it. As the car went through the wash, only half the car got the yellow soap. The water flow at the rinse cycle did not seem to be as strong as normal and the dryers did not completely dry the car as they had when it was Ronnie's. So disappointed. This car wash was my favorite one to go to growing up, then it turned into zips and went down the drain, half the things we paid for didn't even for (Tri color foam, etc) and on top of that only 2 dryers were working (you can tell when they are on because the cover will extend out). I used Zips on 6/26/19. When I got home I noticed some soap remained on my car. Upon closer examination, most of the dirt on my car remained. The brushes barely touched my car. I had to wash my car at home. Basically, I spent $10 to run my car through water. I never had this problem when it was Ronnie's. When this business was known as Ronny's Car Wash, I felt it was a good value for the price. Not an exceptional wash, but pretty darn good. The $10 wash I bought today was a joke! The windshield was the only thing that was clean. I had sprayed bird droppings off my car before going to Zips, but not all of it came off. Also, bits of grass clippings were clinging to one fender. I hoped this little bit of stuff would be completely washed away at the car wash -- it was not. None of the pollen under the spoiler on the trunk lid washed off. The worst part was that very little machinery was running. The brushes that clean the hood, windshield, roof, etc. worked, but the side brushes were not running. This place is unpofessional. Before I went through the car wash I asked if this conveyor would not damaged my rims and they said it was fine. Of course, it dented my rim. I filled a complaint and spoke with manager. He said he would get back with me the next day. One week later still no response. Ronny's has been my go to car wash since they opened on Davis Highway years ago. They had good prices and a pretty decent car wash. But, my favorite amenity was the paper towels and bottles of glass cleaner and all-purpose cleaner. For me, it was a designated place to get my car completely clean, even with me doing most of the work. Just knowing I could do everything without being interrupted or distracted made my car wash experience almost a pleasure. Well...today I planned my day around spending time getting my car cleaned inside and out when, much to my surprise, I was informed that Ronny's no longer provides paper towels and cleaners. This means after going through the car wash and using the vacuums, I have to go home and complete the detailing. I'm just not sure I'll be in the mood to complete my project and I'm not sure I'll be back to Ronny's. If I have to get everything out at the house, I may as well do everything there.
