First arrived, all hands on deck. Everyone had my girls best interest at heart.

Oh my gosh! Finally an absolutely wonderful vet clinic!!! My baby girl was extremely sick and none of the other vet offices I've used couldn't get her in today. I found ZippiVet and was able to book online. Within 30 minutes I received a call asking me if I could bring her in earlier than the time slot I selected since her symptoms were concerning to them. When I say bedside manner, WOW! These women were AMAZING! They treated my dog like a princess! Gentle, comforting, patient and so so sweet! They were transparent about any and all costs. Never once did they try to push anything on us. They only wanted to do what was needed and kept us in the know the whole time. I genuinely felt like I could 100% trust them, that's how amazing they were. Never felt like they were all about money unlike most clinics I've been to in the past. Sure, while we still had to spend a good amount on diagnostics and labs, it seemed reasonable and fair for what they needed to do to diagnose her with Pneumonia. AND the best part is that my baby girl was feeling SOOOOO much better after they kept her on IV fluids and meds while my husband and I went to grab a bite of lunch and let the IV work. Thank you to them, my girl is home and HAPPY!

She is by far the best vet we've ever had. We've been bringing our furbaby to Paw Haven for the past few years and we are so incredibly grateful for the love and attention she has consistently shown. I tend to over worry when it comes to our dog, so I always have a ton of questions at each visit. Dr. Breclaw never rushes us and would always patiently answer every question with several options so that we can make the best decisions for our dog. This summer, our dog collapsed unexpectedly. After reviewing a video of the episode, Dr. Breclaw immediately recognized that it was likely due to a heart issue and referred us to a cardiologist, which led to the heartbreaking diagnosis of congestive heart failure. However, I would say thanks to her quick insight, we were able to get the care our dog needed to help manage the disease and bring our dog comfort instead of treating the collapsing episode as something neurological related as we had thought it was a seizure. Dr. Breclaw even followed up with us personally afterward to check on how our furbaby was doing, which honestly meant so much to us. Early last year, our dog also had surgery to remove multiple lipomas on her body. Dr. Breclaw was thorough throughout the entire process and took such good care of our baby. We always feel safe and supported in her hands. All in all, Dr. Breclaw and Paw Haven have been a blessing for our family. We couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with our dog's care.

After almost two years of being told by another local vet that my cat Sassy Pants just had a "clogged duct" and needed warm compresses (spoiler alert: that was NOT the issue), her condition continued to worsen. I stayed longer than I should have because I value familiarity... but never at the cost of the health of my pets, kids, or family. When my sister recommended FM 685 Animal Hospital, I took a very hesitant, very shaky leap of faith. And honestly? Sassy looked like she was ready to walk over the rainbow bridge just to escape the pain. My heart was wrecked. From the very first visit, everything changed. Not only did they CORRECTLY diagnose and treat Sassy Pants ‍, they gave me something I didn't even realize I'd lost: peace. No judgment! No shame! No side eye! No making me feel like I "wasn't doing enough!" Just empathy, professionalism, and genuine care. And when Sassy had a second flare-up after being fully cleared (because, you know... life happens), they got us in quickly and handled it with the same kindness and zero judgment. They understand that caring for pets means caring for the whole family unit... pet and owner together. Sassy Pants is now back to her normal, healthy, purr-fectly pretty self ‍ I've since switched all my pets over to them and already referred four other families, because when you find your people, you don't gatekeep. While I was overjoyed that FM 685 had availability for the emergency surgery my cat needed, and they did a good job with it, the billing process left A LOT to be desired. When I went to pick up my cat, they gave me the bill. I asked for an itemized bill and to speak with the vet about the procedure, so they took me and my partner to another room to wait for the vet to come. When the vet arrived a few minutes later, I went through the itemized bill with him and asked to see every single x-ray, lab results, etc that I was being charged for. Turns out, there were several of each that they were trying to charge me for, but never actually happened. The vet could not come up with the scans or lab results. He looked embarrassed, and tried to fumble around with the computer to "look for them" but ultimately said "oh, they must have gotten lost...we can take off the charge." At such a vulnerable moment for me, FM 685 tried to take advantage of me and squeeze a few more hundred dollars out. I genuinely cannot fathom why. Leaving them 2 stars for saving my cat, but taking off the rest for how sleazy they were. If it were me, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. Use FM 685 at your own risk, and ALWAYS ask for an itemized bill.

I emailed and called about his vet records two weeks ago which were never sent. I called again this morning for them and they said I was probably using the wrong email - they emailed me the vet records while I was on the phone from the same email address I was sending requests to. This place is not well-run or well-organized. If you value quality care, this is not it. I started going to this clinic because I moved away from the clinic I've brought my dog to for 5 years. To preface, he is a big boy, 87 lbs but he has no bite history and has never once been aggressive. He does have fear going to the vet because he had to have emergency surgery 3 years ago and recovery was stressful for him. I first went to this clinic for his annual exam; they asked me to come back with him on a regimen of 2 gaba / 2 trazadone the night before and then another 2 gaba / 2 trazadone the morning of. I understood, and agreed to reschedule, even knowing it would mean an additional exam charge. Historically, his anxiety has over ridden the medication because of his vet- related trauma. However, if I am in the room, and I am the one who muzzles him, he is much easier to handle. Again, he has never bit anyone and is not aggressive at all. His previous clinic was able to follow this protocol with no problem, we were always able to be seen and the issue at hand was always taken care of. I attempted to schedule an appointment with this clinic for his Anal Gland Expression and had him only on Gaba because again, even if he's on the full course of meds, he is still anxious and the only thing that has helped has been me being present in the room. I explained all of this to the tech that he is much better when I am in the room and that I always help restrain and muzzle him, even at this clinic, and that his anxiety overrides medication. The tech still took him alone to the back, which obviously increased his anxiety, and then rejected seeing him because he wasn't able to be still without letting me help him. They then suggested I place him on an extra dose of trazadone before vet visits, increasing the dose to 4 gaba / 5 trazadone total within 12 hours which seems incredibly excessive for a ten minute non-invasive procedure and without considering changing how they handle him and listening to me as to what I know works for him. It seems like they aren't able to handle large dogs, or anxious dogs without over-medicating them. They didn't charge this time, but it's disappointing interacting with a clinic that doesn't seem to want to work with me on how they handle him. I understand that they are fear-free, but if they don't help him work through his fear by changing their handling of him to what is tried and true and works, medicating doesn't change the fear, it just suppresses it. Fear-free means adapting handling to what is proven to work for that specific animal, listening to the owner as to what works, and not increasing anxiety by taking him alone to the back room and then using that to justify increased medication. I also understand some clinics just aren't a good fit and may be better for other type of dogs, but in my opinion, they are not good with large, anxious, non-aggressive dogs.
