Save yourself the frustration and headache of the night mare that zip dog movers offer. There truck broke down so I rented a uhaul, and I dismissed there service. The owner got my 20 yr old daughter to sign a contract while I was getting a truck and replacement movers. After it was all said and done, the owner tried to get my daughter to let him use our rental for his use, unbelievable! I refused to pay him for services promised but not provided the owner turned around and told my daughter he'd take her to court since she signed a contract. I called over a week in advance and was scheduled between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning. The time came and went and I attempted to reach out several times, but was told around 130 pm by the supervisor that the computers and phone systems went down over the weekend and he was unaware until he went into the office. However everything was moved within 2 hours the movers were friendly and they were quick and helpful supervisor was very apologetic and did offer a discount to me for the inconvenience unfortunately my couch was damaged in the move but the supervisor was quick to work with me on getting it fixed or replaced. read more

Rude staff in charge, bad sloppy move. Phil was a rude, unprofessional employee. He appeared to be in charge of the other movers. There 2 each day--took 2 days. Only Phil was unprofessional. I packed everything I thought I needed to do. He did not agree, but did not explain what they needed, as in how to be packed, but instead stormed and yelled at me. They were to take everything out of my apartment and pick up additional boxes and furniture from my storage unit. He was very unhappy with how the storage unit had been stacked by another company. When I told him who had moved me before, he asked why I had not called them. He was dissatisfied with everything. They forgot my bed frame and then blamed me. They would not go back to get it and I had to put it in my car and bring it to my apartment. I'm 82 yrs old. I hired them because I do not have the ability to move myself. DONT USE THEM! read more

Would leave zero stars if possible. My grandfather arranged almost three weeks ago for our home to be moved to another residence on the 31st. That morning Rob, the owner of the business, if you can call it that, stated that they were having truck issues and it could take up to two hours. Fast forward SIX HOURS and still no call or text from Rob. Keep in mind the new owners of this home are expecting to move in the next two days. The lack of communication and integrity on Zip Dogs part is outstanding. I don't know of many moving companies in town, but believe me I will tell people to stay away from Zip Dog!!!! read more

Zipdog is the worst movers I ever used. They move fast but tear up the corners of the wall because they hit the walls with the furniture. I used their packing service which was a big mistake. They pack the cords of the electronics in one box and the electronics in another box. Then you spend a lot If time trying to match everything together or Call them to unpack everything and of course get Charge again for unpacking. lets start off by calling this so called moving company.. rip off dog moving service. i hired them too move three pieces of restaurant equipment... i told the owner it was very heavy and will need help... they showed up and hour and half late to the first location.. immediately the guy in charge starts saying this job was a hernia maker and was not happy.. they got one cooler loaded and started too tie this $7,000 cooler with some 1/2 inch rope i asked if they had ratchet straps they stated they dont use them they just use rope too tie things down with! i had too go home and get ratchet straps for them.. got too second location. i stated they had too remove the wheels from cooler too get it out the door they decided too rip out the door and the threshhold with a pair of pliers while i was getting more straps for the rest of the equipment the ripped all the wood threshold and door frame too pieces the door would not start too shut after they attempted too fix it.. i had too make an emergecy call too a carpenter too repair the door... i myself had too strap down my equipment on thier trailer... once we got too the finale location they stated that there was no way they can get my equipment in my building they then unloaded $15,000 worth of equipment with glass doors in the middle of a gravel parking lot and charged me $800 and abandoned the job... i had too then make another emergency call too another moving company who was very very familiar with rip off dog moving and was able too send some guys right over too help me out they had no issues getting my equipment in my building.. the owner of rip off dog is very rude and saud the entire job going wrong was just my fault and his guys didnt do anything wrong.. he will not pay for any damages he is guys did nor will he compensate for having to hire another company to finish the job they charged me for.... if you feel like getting bent over the bench at the local dog park or feel like ripping your hair out then rip off dog moving company is for you they will show up in a crappy mood as well as in an old beat up truck with small trailer falling apart with no moving equipment at all not a single dolly nor a single ratchet strap they will most definitely leave you in a bind and haul ass... i can only hope a comapy like this will soon shut the front door for good... do not use rip off dog moving i hope this reaches out too anything thinking about hiring these rip off dogs read more

Well to get this started. I give them no stars. My friend was moving to a new apartment and decided to call this horrible company. They were 2 hours late because the driver was waiting on his helper, not our problem. When they arrived I ended up going to the store to get them a bag of ice and bottled water for their cooler. They were not prepared. It was a 2 man team. I felt like I was going to end up helping so I just went to work lol. She has a piano that is old but in very good condition that she was concerned about getting damaged. They seemed to manage to get it in the truck in one piece while her anxiety was maxed out. The nightmare started after everything was in the truck. They were going to store everything for 3 weeks because the apartment complex kept telling her the apartment wasnt ready yet. When the day came for her to get the keys and move in, the apartment manager said that she couldnt have the keys till 3pm . The movers were supposed to be at the new apartment at 8am but ended up arriving at 10am. They also ended up waiting out front for 4 hours and charging her another 400 dollars for them waiting. They could have left and came back but instead charged her when she had no control over the apartment situation. When they finally arrived to deliver the property it was also a 2 man team. One of the guys was negative Nancy and complained the whole time because there were stairs. They carried everything into the apartment quickly damaging the walls as well as the furniture. The piano... oh the poor piano... they tipped it on its side long ways to get it in the apartment. My friend almost had a heart attack. The driver, Mario, saw how high her anxiety was and offered her weed... lol... really man... I see how professional this is. They put a whole in the side of the piano and now one of the notes dosnt work anymore. Theres more damage on the opposite end near the bottom as well. The 2500.00 TV had the frame coming off but thank god wasnt messed up. The 5000.00 Bose sound system is damaged, sound bar has dents in it and the Subwoofer sounds like its raspy and has a paper tear inside it. The 4000.00 brand new 3 month old couches no longer look new. Theres a tear in the back of the sofasleeper and is now INFESTED WITH FIELD MICE! Thats right folks... where they stored the furniture got the couches infested with mice which we are now trying to deal with. When they were bringing the couch inside the aparement.. negative Nancy kept saying it wouldnt fit but got it stuck in the doorway. I ended up assisting them with this puzzle by flipping the heavy ass couch over the banister, heavy but doable. He wasnt a smart guy, seemed like the type of guy to force a round peg into a square hole. He said F' IT and walked off. Probably the same guy from the other review. They broke the banister with the couch. We were sitting outside and a box just lept out of their truck.. this was probably her 100.00 Instapot which was found with a huge ass dent in the side of it which wasnt there before. Alrighty, moving upstairs they got half her sons bunkbed upstairs and gave up on the second half because they didnt have any tools . They left it downstairs along with her king bedframe and every other box that they were supposed to carry upstairs. She had to carry them up herself. Her father and myself carried that stuff upstairs and put them back together later. The dresser that had just been painted was all scuffed up along with the walls and the doors. They really damaged everything they touched or got near. Once everything was out of their truck and inside the apartment the driver 'Mario' went into the kitchen and was working the numbers. He came up wity another 300.00 for the move in. Whatever, at this point we just wanted them gone. He said he had already paid the 300.00 and said we could pay him back. I said id pay half on payday and shes pay half. We signed our names to something that wasnt even a work related piece of paperwork. We noticed all the damage after they left. We arent paying him anything but he keeps calling her. We arent even sure that money is owned. It seemed shady af. Shes called several times to report it to managment but no one will call her back. Ive called and left vmail to call me back and feel like we are being ignored. In total shes paid very close to 1000.00 for the move plus out the money for poison and gluetraps to kill the mice that nested in the couch. She deserves a full refund for the move as well as compensation for all the broken and damaged property. Oh and her mental anguish shes had to go thriugh for everything. This company is the worst. Highly do not recommend this company. Will be contacting the BBB as well as an attorney to seek compensation. read more

Great. 3 workers showed up on time. Workers were very polite, nice and EXTREMELY efficient at both loading and unloading. They were great at unloading the contents of a 3 bedroom house and fitting everything in existing storage unit. The unit is stuff, but workers backed everything in storage neatly and were very careful. Nothing damaged. When we have to move from storage, we will absolutely use them - the experience could not have better in every aspect. read more

Just all around great. Met me in the parking lot of my apartment complex and unloaded a 26 foot truck in two hours on the second floor. Found a debit card that my wife lost some time ago, (since canceled) and brought it to us immediately. That kind of integrity makes me pleased with my choice. They moved and loaded like the apartment was on fire but took obvious care of everything they touched - nothing was damaged in the move. i used this company last June for my local move. 2 guys showed up and hussled to get the job done. I was so impressed I even tipped them. I hope I never have to move again but if I do, I would definitely use them again. Their only downfall is they only have 1 truck and its not very big leaving the guys to make 2 or 3 trips to get it all done. read more

I've moved from Northern California to SoCal and now Amarillo TX one of the wost decisions I've ever made in my life, however thats another story for another day. The other dumb decision was using Zip destruction i mean Dog moving company. Ok people, have i got a sad and tragic story for you, so snuggle up and grab your favorite food or beverage and feel free to laugh as i can only do now that the nightmare is finally over. They arrived 3 hours late after i called and asked where was the two man truck i scheduled several days in advance once they finally answered the phone. I was told that the truck was cold and wouldn't start because it was a diesel truck. Not my problem i need the truck i reserved. I was told it would be on its way in 15 mins. Someone there can't tell time or count perhaps both again not my problem. Three hours later the truck arrived with 2 guys great im behind schedule but I'm thankful that they came after calling a few other moving companies which where booked for the day in question. Check this out people. A hour into the move one of the guys said screw it and walked off the job after the lift on the truck broke down i kid you not.. So now I'm helping the poor guy load my furniture on to the truck that im paying for. I know crazy right? So by now my girlfriend has flipped her lid and ready to go postal on the owner seeing her soon to be sore boyfriend lifting a washer and couch on to a broken down truck that I'm supposed to pay for... So to sume it up and let you get back to streaming or Facebook 11 hours later from the reserved start time of 8am they arrived at my new home with of course broken, lost and scratched furniture finally delivered not to mention all the profanity being said throughout the move. There is so much more craziness with this company but im catching a cramp in my thumb. Save your sanity and choose a more reliable and professional company. Would you use a mover who turns up 7 hours late for a 40 minute job? Zipdog committed to arrive between 8 and 9am but truck broke down and they took another job before mine. Then they told me they were late because they couldn't get the woman whose job they squeezed in ahead of me(despite their commitment to be here first thing) to pay her bill. The guys on the truck were good at getting my office furniture moved to another floor in the same building, but they have to do what the dispatcher tells them to do. As an attempt to placate me for the delay and numerous calls I had to make(at least 6 throughout the day, they gave me a discount of $10. I consider that an insult and an indication of how poorly this company operates. I tipped the guys on the truck because they did the work and clearly Zipdog doesn't pay them much. Based on my experience, you can't count on this company to be on time. Avoid is the only word I can think of, AVOID! read more
