I do not have insurance,so if you are worried about going in without insurance dont be,the prices are very reasonable. They collect payment upfront before the visit as well as ask for your i.d. The facility was very clean,and well maintained. My experience was quick, I was in the facility and out in under an hours time. I was issued antibacterial eyedrops for my eye infection, at no additional cost. The eye drops were given to me on site after they examined my condition. My visit was pleasant and hassle free,and not having to run to a pharmacy afterwards was a huge plus. read more

I was in town for business and dealing with the stomach flu. Easily made appt. online. Arrived at appt. time, filled out a few forms, waited for about 10 minutes before being called in. The waiting area has leather chairs and a TV. Nurse checked my vitals, recorded my symptoms on the computer. It then took about 30+ minutes for the P.A. to come in. During that time, I just lied down and slept. The P.A. was a friendly lady who was a very good listener and said she'd give me some tylenol, prescribed me some antibiotics, and they even gave me some IV fluids since I was dehydrated. It's been two days now and I feel much better and on the mend. read more

Clean space, friendly service, and relatively quick experience! I came here for a minor ailment, and everything was explained clearly to me, the forms were relatively simple, and the front desk staff was friendly. When taken back, I got a through exam, and quick service from the provider on exactly what I needed. I only had to wait about 5 minutes between the tech and the provider. My only complaint is the wait time up front. It took me about 30 minutes to get back, and there was only 1 other person in front of me... I know healthcare is a time-consuming industry, but at least get people back & into a room in a timely manner. Would overall recommend- 9/10 stars! read more

I sprained my ankle and put my name on the list online ahead of time. The online system said there was one person ahead of me. The whole process at the clinic took about two hours which is much longer than I expected. For the most part, everyone was very pleasant and they apologized that it was taking so long. I thought the doctor was a little snarky when I mentioned a cough I had. He said "We don't do a chest X-Ray for nothing!". I wasn't asking for an X-Ray, but did want to mention it before they X-Ray'd my ankle. The main part that brings down the rating for me is that they sent me home with someone else's discharge papers! That's something they should be much more careful about with HIPPA laws. read more

Aweful front desk service. Came here over 90 days ago, I was aware that my insurance may not be covered but was told if a claim was submitted I would be reimbursed. LONG STORY short, ZipClinic did take my insurance (front desk blatantly lied to me) and they offered no help (telling me to talk to their billing department) which got my no where. Our 16-year-old left Tampa, Florida a bit under the weather & by day #2 here in Denver it was evident she had something over the counter melds could not touch. I called Zip Clinic and Carissa was very pleasant over the phone & was very welcoming. We took an UBER over and were met with smiles, efficient paper work system. Don't do a COVID test here. The online "appointment" option is just a check in slot, not a guaranteed appointment time. Although I was the second person in line and ended up sitting there for an hour because their online check in wasn't function properly. The individual that coordinated the check in had a mask that continually fell off her nose and explained that it was "just too big" for her when I pointed it out for the third time. I asked she get one that fits given that we're all here for COVID testing.... read more

Did a Covid test here. The online checkin was really smooth except they tell you to stay in your car and call, and it's really difficult to find the correct number. I was a few minutes late and couldn't find the phone number on the text, email, or website. Sat in my car for 5 minutes looking for it and someone finally just came out to my car and got me checked in. My other complaint, and this is the bigger one, is they don't make it clear what type of test you're getting, whether it's the rapid or otherwise. I actually had to ask after I'd already gone through everything. Of course it ended up being the non-rapid one and now I don't know if I'll get the results in time to know whether I need to make work plans or test my kids / prepare to keep them home. Not sure if these are problems with all clinics or just this one, but they really need to be more clear about what people are getting before you go through all the rigamarole. read more

If you do NOT have insurance and really need to get something checked out, this is where you need to go! They don't advertise this, but for uninsured walk-ins, they charge a flat rate $119.00 fee. That fee covers your exam, labs, AND MEDICATION. That is not something most urgent cares will do. I was between insurances and got an infection. I put it off longer than I probably should have because I was uninsured, and finally went to ZipClinic. Paid the uninsured fee (they ask for payment upfront when you are uninsured, but you can use a credit card), got my exam and my labs, and then expected to have to go pay an outrageous amount for antibiotics at a pharmacy. Nope! I told the doctor/RN that I was uninsured and they filled the prescription right then and there. No additional fees. If you let something go too long and the labs and xrays, etc you need are more extensive, there may be additional fees. BUT if you nip that infection in the bud and go here before things get ER-trip worse, you will be well taken care of. Do it. read more

I had a really wonderful experience with this urgent care. I scheduled an appointment for after work. When I got there they had all the forms ready for me to fill out. They saw me right at my scheduled time. Both of the healthcare professionals who assisted me during my visit were extremely kind and understanding about my illness and all the discomfort I was in; when I walked out after my appointment I was even a little teary eyed by how kind everyone was. It's sad that rude or disinterested healthcare professionals often seem like the standard. Thankfully that wasn't the case with this clinic at all. I was very well taken care of at this Zip Clinic and I will absolutely visit them again. Hopefully I won't need to do so any time soon though. I would absolutely recommend them. read more

I had never been to an urgent clinic before last night. I phoned first to confirm a short wait. Staff was friendly when I got there and I didn't wait long. Once in the treatment room the staff was quick and with a really high temp they wouldn't let me leave till it came down. It was a better experience than I thought it would be. read more

Do not do COVID tests here. My daughter was told she would have results within 8 days. We are now at 10 days. Other sites use labs and can get results in 72 hours. They are now telling us we won't have results until later next week. This is AFTER another employee told us results were in and we just needed to be called. Frustrating to say the least. Frontline staff was friendly, RN on the phone....not so much. Clearly there are other sites that would have been better to get testing from. UCH has testing results within 72 hours --- same price. Had a problem going on with my ear, instead of going to my GP, it was so much faster, closer, and less expensive to go to ZipClinic. Excellent walk-in clinic. The Dr. and nurse practitioner were very attentive and I was in/out with my ear all better. Great location and lots of private lot parking. Their online check in wasn't working so I was hesitant walking in but I was the only person in the lobby. It still took about 20 minutes to be seen 40 back in the room and the walls are very thin. I have seen three different physicians here over the past few years and they are CLASS ACTS. All incredibly informative, approachable and caring. The nursing and front desk team is also fast and friendly. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room and always was informed of what to expect payment-wise. When I had a small head wound that wouldn't stop bleeding, I decided on this clinic because it was in-network for my insurance (Wellmark BCBS HDHP). Upon checking in, I told the lady at the front desk that I had insurance, but asked if it would be cheaper to just pay the cash price ($119, as other reviewers have pointed out). She said she thought it would be cheaper to go through insurance. They made me leave a credit card and sign paperwork authorizing a charge up to $250. For my treatment, the wound was wiped off and super-glued shut. I was out fairly quickly. Two weeks later, I received an Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company. As it turned out, ZipClinic billed them $421 (!!) and the amount I'm responsible for is $376.65!!! read more

Abby was one of the worst healthcare professionals I have ever dealt with. She made me feel stupid for asking questions about my own health, and then she tried to tell me to take medicines that would interrupt my seizure medicine. You would think a doctor would look into that kind of thing before telling me to take a drug. Worst experience and doctor I have ever dealt with. My nurse was wonderful on the other hand. read more

Seriously, avoid Denver Health like the plague and go here to be seen quickly and for a very good price. My urgent care bill at Denver health was almost $700 where this was about 1/6 of that, all inclusive. Denver health you have to pay for the doctors fee and the facility fee (no it was not emergency just plain urgent care) that are individually about as much as my entire visit here. Then they did several labs, one of which I told them not to, that ranged anywhere from about $40-200. This place actually gave me my prescription, like a sealed bottle of my antibiotics. Unhelpful. I was looking for a CV19 test. Staff ignored me upon my arrival. I had to capture the attention of one staffer. After sending me back to my car to complete a registration form, I returned to the front office. I was ignored again and had to ask for help. I was given a ticket #, told to return to my car, and asked to wait for a phone call. A time was not provided. The staff called and asked for information not in the original questionnaire. I explained that I simply wanted a test and should not be required to provide more information. The staff told me that someone would be out soon to take my vitals and gather the sample. I was told to wait again. I asked how long it would be, and that it would help if they could text me the results. I explained bluntly that I was missing appointments. The staff told me that a call would be impossible and that I would need to wait another ten minutes for the NP to bring the results. My results were negative. The NP explained that she did not like the way I was treating her staff. I will never return. If you are looking for a CV19 test, make an appointment elsewhere, like AFC or your healthcare provider. I got a covid test here (where all they do is swab you and check your temperature) and as I provided my insurance information, I was charged the same as if I had a regular appointment and therefore have to pay my visit urgent care copay. Covid testing is supposed to be free but they are getting around it by saying taking of the swab and temperature check is a "medical service." I refuse to ever go back to this place. read more

First and foremost, please do not let the reviews below prevent you from getting a Covid test. I was not experiencing symptoms but went to get tested after spending time with a group of people. I booked an appointment Wednesday afternoon for a 8:54am test on a Thursday morning. I was out of the clinic by 9:15am. Of course, with most appointments these days, there may be extra wait time, but the staff at ZipClinic were quick and proficient. I checked in when I arrived via text and they called when it was my turn to enter the facility for a nasal swab. Perhaps their system has changed since the reviews from earlier in October, but I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth the entire experience was. read more

We are visiting Denver and my son started feeling sick. We decided to go to ZipClinic and I am so glad we did. From the online checking-in process to the visit with the doctor, everything worked out great. Right after checking in I received a text with our estimated appointment time. We got to the clinic and were immediately registered and the front desk attendant was very courteous and knowledgeable. Within minutes we were called by the nurse, who was also very kind and knowledgeable. Then we saw Dr. Porter. He must be the kindest doctor in the world!!! The care he displayed for my son was very reassuring; he answered all our questions and we felt as if we have known him all our lives. Being sick while away from home is very stressful and I am so happy we found this clinic. A+ in all aspects! read more

I had fractured ribs and needed relief, first urgent care could not write scripts, second urgent care had no xray machine, third urgent care had an xray machine but no xray tech on weekends. i went here, explained everything, told them about my next doctors appointment for the ribs, they took care of me. very helpful, clean location, great staff and friendly. if i ever need another urgent care and i am in downtown, i will be going here. read more

I had a pretty severe asthma attack this morning, and by the time I got myself to Zip Clinic, I wasn't breathing very well at all. I told the girls up front that I was having an asthma attack, and within moments, someone came to get me and took me.l back instantly. The nurses and doctors were running so they could quickly administer a breathing treatment for me, and everyone was so kind. I was a little scared, but the people there had me breathing better in no time. I wish I had remembered everyone's names, for they were wonderful to me. I hope I never have to return, but if I am sick again and can't get in with my GP, I will always return to Zip Clinic. read more

Started noticing symptoms of a UTI yesterday morning and needed to see someone quickly. Came in an hour before they close (I hate being that person), but everyone treated me with great kindness. I only waited for 30 minutes to be seen and the appointment was quick and efficient. Price is moderate. Medical services are never cheap, and if it's urgent enough to go to a clinic like this then it's worth the cost. Lastly, all the props to their receptionist (didn't get her name, but brown hair and a key tattoo on her neck). After a long day she still greeted me with genuine kindness and then had to deal with a rude patient's snotty remarks, but somehow was able to remain calm and have the utmost composure. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs immediate help. read more

I went in to get tested for strep. The front desk staff didn't ask for a copay and didn't tell me that I needed a referral from my primary doc or I would receive a huge bill. I would not have gone through with the strep test had I known it wouldn't be covered by insurance or the exorbitant cost.
