FOOD: The food itself was borderline gourmet. The black bean dip, beef empanadas, and even the quesadillas were perfectly made with fresh ingredients by the master chef on site. How many aquariums do you know that have a chef on site? The compliments flowed like wine all night. Speaking of wine. DRINKS: Can we talk about the full bar next to the sloth exhibit? There were 3 kinds of frozen booze drinks and they were all magical. And liquor, wine, and beer? Boom. Done, and in record time with a smile. SERVICE: In my opinion, Kyle, the Event Coordinator, can stand alongside any wedding planner in America. I've seen so-called celebrity wedding and event planners in action and none of them could hold a candle to the level of professionalism, precise timing, and class that Kyle brought to our wedding reception. No, no and no. I…read morewent there for a school counselor conference at the same time as a cheerleading competition. Mind you these cheerleaders are little girls with the oldest maybe being 16. The staff at the convention certain kept yelling at us and them, saying how annoying they were and go to the other side of the convention. I get its safety and you want the kids secured, but they were rude as hell to those kids and parents, and I'm not even a cheerleading fan. As someone whose like cheerleading, whatever, for me to feel bad for those girls, that's something. They are actually strict about food and drinks brought in, but other convention centers have more options or don't care. Like the vending machines here were stupid expensive and there was no credit card feature so you were out of luck. The coffee shop had limited hours. Again, I think the organization of the conferences, the way the staff was rude and yelled at people, was out of line. I get it cheerleaders are loud and peppy, but come on their little kids and the whole point was for them to be loud and obnoxious cause i'm pretty sure chant volume counts for something with how loud they were. And if I as a non cheerleader fan can get over it, how can the staff that is supposed to be professional not be kind to them. If you even looked like a mom, you got yelled at. Thankfully I had school counselor gear on the whole time so no one yelled at me or I would have been livid. The layout is confusing and where one main entrance from another is confusing to those from out of town. This convention center nearly made me hate Fort Worth. I hope they work on teaching the staff to deal with these crowds and events or hire friendly people. Because if the George R. Brown in Houston can have grumpy people be polite and professional to people wearing star wars clothes during comicpalooza, these folks can freaking not yell at patrons. And you had to QR code every time the bathrooms were filthy. Ew. On a positive note, the carpet has a cute flower design. That is the only thing I liked. Otherwise, major fail.

We were able to have May I Serve U do our Father's 50th surprise birthday party and we were beyond…read morehappy we did so. The customer service was amazing and the venue was done beautifully! When we went to the store to pick out the table set up the owners, Anagi and Nuwan, were very patient and hospitable, they even gave us their suggestions and ideas which we appreciated a lot. The colors we had planned for the party was very specific so we were very content with their wide selection of colors they had as with their collection of cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. The prices are super reasonable which is always nice to work with! They even took the time to give us a tour of the warehouse!! At the party, everything was set up on time to surprise my father and we were all really impressed with the set up. Everything looked magical, the items were clean and looked brand new! The servers were very pleasant to us and our guests, always had a smile on their faces. They were incredibly helpful with color selection along with my coordinator and were incredibly accommodating. Our wedding day rentals were so beautiful and made our whole night feel like us. They were great at communicating through the process and even when our guest list numbers dropped it was a super easy change. I also made a mistake in my order and had some duplicate items and they were kind enough to make sure that I hadn't made a mistake instead of just charging us for the items. All of this being said, Nuwan and Anagi were the best part of it! It's always great to work with a business that runs efficiently but it's so much better when that business is run by two of the kindest and nicest people!
