I'm not sure why this location was marked as closed- it is open!…read more I have a 2 year old and it is in the 100's outside while I'm in Texas visiting family- so I was looking for indoor play options. This one kept coming up, but I wasn't sure because of some of the reviews. It was perfect for him! He loved it. It was clean, the toys were well stocked, and it was just enough to keep him occupied without being overwhelmed. The car race area was my favorite part (what a CUTE idea!). He loved each of the play areas. The restroom was clean, there were plenty of seating areas, and the woman working the door was very kind! I even found a Groupon and it was only around $5 for him to have fun and play. Thanks so much for providing a safe and cool place for my son!

I took my two boys to Celebrations Indoor Adventure today, as it has been over 100 degrees in the…read moreheat of the day lately, and we needed to get out of the house. I thought an indoor playground would be just the ticket. First of all, it's not easy to spot the place from the road. It's located in a small collection of office buildings and there's only a small sign above the door. The inside, however, is colorful and spacious, with lots of activities to amuse everyone from toddlers all the way up to tweens. They've got a big collection of Little Tikes cars to zoom around in, and a "track" to ride them on. There's also pretend stations where kids can play kitchen, construction activities, dress-up and the like. They also have a pretty good-sized bounce house, air hockey, foosball and a "stage" to perform on. There was also a small collection of baby toys for the younger ones, though my kids didn't pay too much attention to those. As for refreshments, they have a few sodas and juice for sale up front, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to eat at their tables. Next time we come I will likely bring a "picnic" for the kids. They also have a birthday party space you can rent. One word of caution - I was struck by how run down some of the toys and items seemed to be. The electronic keyboard in the musical instrument section was broken, and lots of the dress-up clothes were torn or worn out. Some of the sections kind of reminded me of a church nursery. I understand that the toys probably stand up to a lot of abuse, but I would recommend that the facility begin replacing some of them. However, we stayed for two and a half hours and I had a hard time getting my kids to leave, so obviously they enjoyed themselves. Throughout the summer (2011), they have "Open Play" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday. That costs $7.50 per kid ($6.50 each if you bring 2 or more kids; parents play free). At all other times, you must pay the fee to reserve a private party. In summation, we'd probably go back, but I wasn't wowed.

From the time that myself and some of the other artists that had arrived, the customer service had not been the best. We were ill-informed of the requirements and if it wasn't for me bringing my laptop to the event, we would've had no music to play over the sound system. The owner made a number of condescending comments that he tried to make into a joke, which no one thought were funny. When I got slightly stern with him, the comments ceased, in my direction. Throughout the night, a woman that hadn't been around, and this is before the event had event started, proceeds to grab my drink and throw it away. I told her that it was mine and I would appreciate if she left it there. Rudely, she makes a comment about it needing to be thrown away by show time, while they had their own, personal drinks lying around, with food. We had received been clearance of our food vendor being able to be in a specific place outside and then the owner is outside, while our show is going on, threatening to call the police and wants us out immediately. There was another show in another theater that was 99% white people, which they had additional commentary for the nearly 100-150 people coming out of the show. We had maybe 20 people in our show and they were constantly on us the entire night about the smallest things, despite selling nearly 100 tickets for our show. Coincidentally, most of the people that came to our show were Latin, Hispanic, and Black backgrounds. Definitely came off as racially profiled and was quite literally the worst experience I've had at a venue. Unprofessional and definitely hoping to never get booked her or ever go back again. Artists, stay clear away!! The only reason I gave this place two stars was because the venue is nice, clean, and spacious. Two members of the staff, one of the sound guys and the bartender were professional, courteous, non-judgmental, did their jobs and made this experience somewhat bearable.

The only thing we all mentioned to each other was the studio was kind of warm. Granted it was hot out, but it was a little stuffy in the studio. The lady who decorates daughter told me they would charge me extra for something I already paid for. Then tried to blame me for not making it clear that the ceiling should have been decorated. This was made clear when we negotiated the venue. It was on the original contract. Who does that??? So be sure if you pay for decorations you go over it again and again.
