This farmers market is open as an indoor market once per month in the off-season. I visited this…read moresmall but mighty market for the first time in March, and I was impressed by the variety of vendors and products. The indoor market is also at Pittsfield Township Hall, but the indoor market is set up inside, in Morris Hall. There was a chef demonstration giving away samples (apple pancakes and kale/blueberry smoothies) in the lobby when I entered. In the actual market, there were about a dozen vendors offering fresh produce and prepared goods. Especially since it was early March, I was impressed with the variety of fresh fruits and veggies - including beets, carrots, swiss chard, garlic, spinach, apples, onions, frozen blueberries. Eggs, honey, cupcakes, kettle corn, bread, and pie were also available. There was even a vendor selling fresh pasta. Two vendors also sold homemade products - cutting boards and organic lotion and bath bombs, etc. Many offered yummy samples- including cheese and kettle corn. In addition to the vendors, there was a craft table and an entertainer making balloon animals. A number of kids were singing with a guitarist as well. The market felt lively and active, but not overcrowded, and it was not difficult to shop even with all this happening. I can't wait to come back for the outdoor markets!

I really enjoyed my visit to this farmers market. There was a lot of fresh produce, honey…read more(including local honey from someone's backyard), scented soy vegan candles, an instrument "petting zoo" (you could try out instruments yourself), and nut butters. One or two of the vendors didn't take cards, but the rest of them did. I don't carry cash, so I couldn't buy anything from the ones who didn't accept cards. I would recommend they get SquareSpace and set a minimum amount for people to be able to charge. I hope to come back to this market again!

Maybe I'm a little biased because this bad boy is walking distance from my house but man--I love…read moreit. First off, it's in the afternoon and evening which is ace. Usually I'm running around Saturday mornings so it's nice to be able to hit a farmer's market later in the day and during the week. They have a nice mix of different produce as well as prepared products. It's great to get Corridor Sausage in my own backyard, love Mindo chocolate from Dexter and I'm thrilled to see them there every week. If I'm feeling like a snack Pilar's Tamales or Good Times Kettle Corn really hit the spot. The Brinary, Seedling (who I used to buy from when I lived in Chicago in their markets), and the Zingerman's creamery are all favorites. Not to mention all the beautiful fresh fruits and veggies. YES. Also--the parking lot rules. If it's too hot to bike or walk it's really nice to roll up and easily find a parking spot without having to pay a meter. It shouldn't matter but it totally does. The Saturday and Wednesday markets in Kerrytown are awesome but I for a few small items I love coming here. Popping in for a tasty eat at the Roadhouse doesn't hurt either! ;)

What a find! This market is the perfect compliment to the Ann Arbor Farmers' Market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Instead, it's in the late afternoon / early evening, which is a nice change, and has an easy location good for parking and on the west side of town. The market hosts about 20 local Michigan vendors, and Zingerman's is usually always outside sampling some kind of yummy goodness. There's a nice selection of fruits, veggies and flowers. I usually hit up this market every Thursday on my way home from work and almost never leave empty-handed. Rain or shine, the market is there.

Saline Farmers Market - Lots of beautiful flowers. We usually park behind Mac's.

The array of beautiful fruit and vegetables was such a welcome sight on this frigid day! Walked away with Dave's delicious honey and imported cinnamon (a staple in our household! None better!), micro greens from Garden Party for my Big Salad tonight, a rich and lush chocolate tart, and Brussels sprouts, fresh off the vine...
