Her examination was very comprehensive, found multiple defects that helped to explain my existing issues, and was also just a delight to be around and talk to. I had already been working with another well-respected vision therapist, and yet she did (and found) more than he did during her visit. (Seriously impressive! She's the real deal.) I drove all the way from Jersey to see her and would recommend anyone in a similar situation to not delay or worry and make the drive. I missed an appointment yesterday (something I have never done), and when I was called, I apologized and was going to schedule another appointment when I was told there was a $25.00 fee for a missed appointment. She never asked if there was a reason I missed my appointment (there was), and when I asked why I needed to pay the fee for a one-time missed appointment, her answer was "it's office policy." Well because of their office policy, my husband, myself, my parents, my son and my daughter-in-law will be going to another eye care center. I hope their $25.00 fee is worth losing six patients.

None of that backing out the door as the doc speaks with you. I've never had trouble getting an appointment, even on short notice. And as any good eye doctor will tell you - and this is regarding that first review of Dr. Lee - if your 13 months out from an eye exam, they aren't going to just order contacts for you. As our eyes age, a year can be an eternity and bring lots of small but important changes to our vision.
