Timberwinds Nursery - Plant and pot dolly

We have been fortunate to visit Timberwinds for many nursery items over the years, and they deliver…read moreevery time. We have purchased: - bushes and flowers - flowers and potting soil for Mom for Mother's Day - soil and mulch for covering new grass seed - a special spray to remove some "critters," apparently called 'scale' which are some shelled animal that was coating ALL of the bark on one of our trees... apparently making some kind of sugar, which made the bark and almost all of the leaves black... which attracted bees and wasps and yellow hackets and other similarly-shaped stinging bugs, buzzing all over the place.... AND just like the Timberwinds team said... spray the tree twice and it will be cleared of the scale, and that is precisely what happened... Thank you, especially, Timberwinds, for the All Seasons Horticultural & Dormant Spray Oil that remove the scale The team is friendly and helpful, too!

Large nursery and large price tags…read more This nursery is shrub and tree heavy. They always carry good brands of flowers, herbs, shurbs, and greenery. Some of the price is justified because they have warranty protection on some. You will leave with only a few items under $50 so make sure you do your wallet research. I love shopping local but I can also watch my spending. These place benefit from year round shopping so get your shears and garden items here. The staff is elderly and take good care of the plants all around the store, but they have to look up and refer back to things a lot so again do your research. The staff is so friendly and can help you but use a cart or come with the muscle. This location is often hard to get into with the entrance being right before a busy has station and business intersection. They have limited parking, but do have plenty of accessible parking for those in need. The restroom is just wide enough for a wheelchair too.

We recently completed a full backyard project after putting in a new pool and needed landscaping…read morefor privacy, drainage correction, and to tie everything together visually. We chose Chesterfield Valley Nursery for the job, and it was the best decision we could've made. Colten Graves, their Landscape Designer & Irrigation Supervisor, was absolutely phenomenal. From the beginning, he treated our yard like it was his own. He was on-site daily, sometimes more than once, and communicated consistently, professionally, and with care. His knowledge is second to none, plants, trees, rock, grading, drainage, design. You name it, Colten handled it with precision. When he said the crew would arrive at a certain time, they did. And the respect the team showed for our property was outstanding. One crew member even removed his muddy boots before walking across our white patio steps. I've never seen that level of care before. Yes, the pricing is on the higher end, but the white-glove service and final result more than justified the cost. Our backyard is now a beautiful, functional space that we love. We'll be hiring Colten again next year for the front yard and recommending him to everyone we know. If you're considering anything from planting a tree to a full-scale yard transformation, do yourself a favor and call Chesterfield Valley Nursery and ask for Colten Graves. You won't be disappointed.
