Not having enough time to eat a decent meal prior to a flight seems to be the norm, for me at…read moreleast. So, after checking in my bag but before going through security, I was hungry and came across Crust Pizza. The display had over 10 different pizzas with different toppings, all of which were pre-made but not pre-baked. They heat it up for you after you order. I opted for the deluxe meat pizza with a side salad for $12. The protein-packed pizza (2 slices) had pepperoni, ham, sausage, chicken, ground beef, and bacon. It was very cheesy, toppings were abundant, the crust was crispy, and two slices were more than enough to satisfy me. The side salad, on the other hand, was very bland and unmemorable. Service was quick and friendly. I was given my meal is less than 5 minutes. So, if you're hungry and short on time to get to your flight, get takeaway from Crust.

I have tried pizza from the Castle Hill store and it was quite good but the outlet at the airport is something special. Not only do they make lovely pizza but they also have omelette's and toasted wraps. The pizza is sold 'a taglia' or in slices. You get a quarter of a larger one. It is cooked once you have chosen your pizza so it's not all dried and yuk. The omelette's are made using three eggs they're light and fluffy and come in a variety of flavour: Chorizo, ham and mushroom, egg and bacon plus a vegetarian containing spinach, mushroom and tomato. The the wraps really deserve praise, sold as a breakfast dish (I'm not sure about the rest of the day) they are made like a very thin pizza, the filling is put on and then they are rolled. They were delicious, I could have eaten three or four, my stomach just wasn't big enough. Crust at the airport is conveniently in the departures lounge before you go through to the gates so that everybody can enjoy them.

We all have that favourite kebab shop that we swear has the best kebabs in all of Sydney. Well, I'm…read moresorry, but unless your favourite kebab shop is also Brothers Kebabs on Princes Highway, you are sadly mistaken. Playing homage to their Turkish origin the Brothers boys ensure all their kebabs are of genuine Turkish quality with only the best meats on offer including beef, lamb and chicken to mix and match with the fillings of your own choice - including tabouli, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomato and more - to create the ultimate kebab to suit your tastebuds. Prices are average starting from $8.50 for a kebab and extra for special fillings, which may seem steep but at the end of the day, how can you put a price on absolute satisfaction? And for just an extra $3.50 make sure you order hot chips as a side, their slightly lemony flavoured chicken-salted chips are a definite must. But to make things even better, the kebab shop is open til late for all those party goers looking for a late night feed after a big night out. They say alcohol makes your food taste better, but in this case, trust me, it doesn't need it.
