Plus steamed prawn and chicken Shao Mai ( 6 for $12 ).They were very tasty . This place was busy . Diners seemed happy . The waitresses were fast and polite. The big open kitchen has a viewing window it was clean and chefs were quick and competent. They were cooking up an extensive menu which was more than dumplings but included standards like Mongolian Lamb , Honey Chicken & Sichuan Spicy Beef & Peki g Duck Pancakes. The Snow White dumplings were adorable as they looked like bunnies. They had shrimp and a delicous sticky exterior that was made of potato starch dough. Our last set of dumplings were the manga ones which were filled with different types of mushrooms. Wow, the presentation was incredible as they looked like hedgehogs, but more importantly they tasted amazing. The crunchy dough texture was a nice change from all the steamed dumplings. We also had the duck fried rice and the eggplant. The fries rice was delicious and the duck added so much flavor. The sticky eggplant was very unique. I had never had eggplant prepared that way. Overall, would give a 4.5 a wonderful meal and would definitely come back to try other dumplings and dishes!

A friend and I ordered carrot dumplings, hedgehog dumplings, fried rice, spring rolls, chicken dumplings and a glass of wine each for about $80 total. We're not usually massive eaters but this is one of those places where you have to make an exception! The spring rolls are easily the best I've had in Sydney, and the dumplings arrived with three dipping sauces which were actually quite distinctive, unlike many restaurants which seem to offer multiple bowls of soy disguised as other things. The servers were some of the quickest, most efficient staff I've met in all of Australia, and seemed to have the speech about ingredients and spiciness down pat...even rote. However, the fried rice arrived well after everything else, and at 8:30 on a Friday night, I felt like we were being rushed out the door despite empty tables. Even so, the dumplings were delicious, and the speed with which everything else arrived was a good fit for how hungry we were! Given how much food we ordered, the price was really fair, too. They had the Beyond Burger 2.0 Patty but I wanted to try the fried chicken. I got the Portuguese Fried Chickens and a few extra sauces. It comes with Jalapenos but it's not spicy, just adds the perfect amount if flavor. The party looks and tastes amazing. It's crispy kind of like a chicken katsu on the outside and tender and surprisingly juicy in the inside. It came with a brioche bun (vegan of course) which was good but not as good as a egg based brioche. However, there was so many great flavors going in that this is forgotten. The best part however is the slaw it comes with. It just ties everything together, especially if you use the extra dips (I'm a sauce guy). I'm planning my next visit already. Most important thing: the chicken burger was great, but the milkshakes are even better! I got vanilla bean and it puts dairy based milkshakes to shame. The sashimi was served on a bed of ice to keep it cool. The fish was cut handsomely and a dollop of wasabi just helped give a kick to the flavours. Halfway through we were served the nagiri and sushi which added a second height to our dining experience. All our items were prepared fresh and by hand. The chefs are definitely adept at their art and know how to serve a great meal. Definitely returning back to the 'dream' know as Yume Sushi.

This is where they made up for the wait to order - the food came out much quicker than I expected and it certainly didn't disappoint. I especially liked the teriyaki chicken in my bento box and the salmon and avo hand roll. The tempura battered prawn and battered veggies were a bit too much - never finished them. I was quite full and content. Although the menu prices are a tad above what I would say is reasonable for a 'lunch special'. I would definitely drop in again and focus on the teriyaki chicken and the fresh hand roles/sashimi.
