The DVDs we finally recived in July are absolute junk. Following are some if the issues I have with them. 1. They lost the recordings of the first half of the evening show and just substituted the first half of the matinee show in instead. The matinee and evening shows were not the same (different dance classes in each show). 2. The camera work is horrendous. It has constant zooming in and out along with poor tracking/framing; all resulting in some of the dancers being cut out of the view or their feet being cut off (a big part of what you want to see of the dancer). 3. The choice of camera placement was poor. The heads of people regularly obstruct the view. 4. The audio quality was poor. Professional recording should include a direct audio feed from the mixing console. 5. It is also very apparent that the video crew did not show up to the dress rehearsal to understand the lighting/blocking on stage. In total I would say that what they produce is no better than what a 10 year old holding an ipad would give you. As a teacher I would only give them a D- on this work. (The work performed and produced by students at the college is far and above superior to what Black Dog Productions is providing.) If I could give negative stars I would. We loved the video they put together when we finally got it. That was the only downside though is that it took 4 months to get our footage instead of the usual two, and when we did get it they had forgotten to put certain clips on there. So everything was great as far as communication and product but they dropped the ball somewhere after our wedding was finished.

Let me tell you, Kerri will forever share a memory in our lives after our shoot. She incorporated our military life which takes so much of my time and our civilian life which is us on our date nights. All the while capturing our promise through incorporating Sara's engagement ring, our future name together, and just our joy of being with each other. Where do I even start? Kerri is a phenomenal photographer and person. The day we did our engagement…read moreshoot, it was hot (August in Palm Springs). She brought water, cooler packs, and wet rags to cool us down. At one point I sat in her car to cool off! For such a hot day, she made sure we were comfortable and safe. :) That is just one example!! She also bought a huge American flag for a prop. She already had ideas for poses, and let me be involved in the style I wanted. Even before I met her, we had already texted many many times, and she was so proactive in sending me sample pictures, giving me tips on my makeup, and ensuring that we were hydrated!! She also brought both her daughter and son, who were helpful the entire time, even though it was hot and it was Saturday evening! They were a fabulous team. As for the photos, they came out so incredibly gorgeous. I've never felt confident in any photo shoot before, but the photos she came up with were in turns beautiful, elegant, sweet, romantic, etc. She made us feel comfortable, and we were able to be ourselves and enjoy the time together as a couple. Kerri went above and beyond what we expected. She was flexible yet professional. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and her photos are stunning. Thank you Kerri for such an amazing day!
