Grab a couple of the cheapest frozen meatballs and throw them on a sub bun with store bought marinara sauce and a thin film of cheese. It'll probably taste better than the slop they sell! Oh, and let's not forget the side salad, served without dressing. If you want that precious topping you have to go beg for it at the counter at which point the staff will provide you with a couple of teaspoons full out of a squirt bottle! All of this for only 41.00 plus! Needless to say we'll never darken their doorway again and if you're smart, neither will you! Stick to Subway.

I got a Cuban which was pretty good (but not as good as one I had in Florida). You can add ingredients like at Subway to the recipes they have. They have several bread options and they cut slices for you, the rye bread I had was nice. Large sandwiches are approx $13. It's a little pricey but it's real food. Just one staff member when I went on a Friday afternoon, they were friendly/cheerful. Not the cheapest option for sandwiches (and we like cheap eats in Winnipeg...) but a nice change to having subs all the time. I'd go here occasionally, take a co-worker, etc. There are a lot of food options at the area so I hope they stay in business.

The food is beyond fantastic! I'm mostly talking the big boy burger and their fries and gravy since I haven't really ventured to different menu items over the years. The restaurant itself is nothing to look at but the couple who runs it are super nice. They actually got to know my family when I was younger and when we went for supper they would greet us and already start making our food without us having to place an order lol Great little burger joint!

My husband is still chasing the taste of the Smokey Joe weeks later in multiple cities and can't find something to compare. I drool thinking of the Reuben I had. The staff were incredible also. So friendly and helpful: even gave us some extra cookies. They also have large bags of rye bread slices that were too small for the sandwiches that they just give away. The bread is so soft and so tasty with just butter. Can't wait to eat here again next time we're in town:

The restaurant itself is brightly decorated with a nice clean design. There only room for about 20 guests so I'm sure it gets full. I've been to other locations in the USA and it's pretty similar in decor and layout, but smaller. You place your order and the sandwiches are freshly made. There's also soup and salads available. My favorites are The Full Montagu and the Chicken Avocado. They come in your choice of white or wheat bread, toasted with fresh meats and other ingredients. The sandwiches are 6 inch or so. Flavorful, filling and a good value for your buck. Staff were friendly and courteous. I'll be back to try some other sandwiches soon.

The cherry iced tea was surprisingly yummy. I don't usually like cherry flavored stuff but this was a great tea! Perfect cherry and iced tea taste. Not too strong on the cherry flavor and not too sweet.
