Good for a quick bite that won't break the bank in Huntington Beach. I've popped in a few times over the years and always hope it will be a little better than it is. There's nothing "wrong" with it -- the slices are large (if you're only mildly hungry, you can split one with a friend and you'll be fine) -- but in my opinion, the sauce is a little lacking. A little flavorless. On my most recent visit, the crust was burned. I don't love the taste of char on bread. Nevertheless, I'll probably pop in again in a few months. One thing: great hours! The best pizza in HB. Hands down. Family run and it shows - you can tell they really really care about their food and the customers. My wife and son are super lactose intolerant and most "dairy free" pizza is just sad and gross - so much so my wife basically gave up eating pizza for a long time. I discovered they had a Vegan cheese option here and wow - you really aren't missing anything if you go this route. Like I wish I could just buy whatever it is they are using for home because it melts up perfectly and tastes ridic good. Half the time we just order all vegan cheese pizzas now from ZeroZero because EVERYONE likes it - even those of us who have superior lactose digestion abilities. It's tiny so plan to take it to go if you can, or just go find a place to plop down at the beach. If you do eat there I do love the little wooden paddles they serve it on. Idk why but it just makes it better. Regardless of WHERE you eat it just go and eat it. If you're from out of town visiting and considering pizza - don't miss it. Most of the food on Main down by the pier is overpriced crap for drunk tourists - not this. I'm far from Italian BUT IMO it's as good or better than anything we have had in Italy and we lived in Bari (Molfetta) for a summer. From the family running the joint, providing quality service to the quality and freshness of ingredients! Just went here for Mother's Day. I was going to order ahead, but decided I'd wait until we got there to place her order. We ordered multiple slices of pizza, Greek salad and some bread. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were really friendly. Food came out shortly after ordering, we didn't have to. The inside is quite small, and they only have about two tables outside, although they're fairly large. We ordered a food and then took it to the beach. The only complaint I have is that by the time we actually sat down to eat, the pizza was already starting to get cold and while it's still taste a good cold I know it's so much better when it's warm. read more
