Food: 3.75. Came by just before 1 am Saturday. This is a small spot with limited spots to eat inside and no outside seating. Maybe I haven't bought pizza for a while but $7.99 for a slice seems high. I wanted to get some value and order a small pizza (12") for $18.79 but the guy said they weren't making small pizzas. We ordered two pepperoni slices. Pizza slices were reheated and given to us timely. Pizza looked good and hit the spot. Staff was efficient but not friendly.

Great food. You will not be disappointed. Pizza is great especially at 1 am after dancing all night at the bar next door. Service was great. Ambiance super cute.

Great pizza, friendly service! Always a quick and easy stop when cruising around main st.

Huge shoutout to Josh and Isiah! The pizza was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was on point -- they made us feel so welcome. Definitely worth the drive from the IE, and we'll 100% be coming back for more. Thanks for making our day, guys! Hehehe!"

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Wanted something quick and the cheese pizza was perfect as it didn't fall off after a bite and I liked the extra grease. Buffalo was good but didn't have big chunks of chicken which I prefer it had small amounts. However it did the job and would go back to try other slices

Slice of pepperoni.  It's a huge slice with a lot of flavor (and a lot of grease).  Pretty darn good (but also $4.50 per slice).

It's a small hole in the wall in downtown Huntington Beach. It caught my attention because I'm a fan of any place that sells pizza by the slice, although they also have an extensive non-pizza menu. When we first walked in, the pizza on display and on sale by the slice looked unappetizing and kind of tired and not all that freshly cooked (I could be wrong but that's how it looked). Perhaps seeing our reaction, the counter man offered to cook up a fresh pizza, which he did. The slices we received (pepperoni) were heavy on the grease but also heavy on the flavor. Our slices were huge but were also about $4.50 each, which is on the pricey side. Good quality, good flavor, good size slices. You make the call.

That pizza was so damn good I nearly slapped the table like a Southern auntie at bingo night. Crispy, cheesy, hotter than gossip at a church potluck. But BABY... that Dubai chocolate pizookie? I was hovering over that dessert like a raccoon behind a five-star restaurant -- greedy, feral, and absolutely not willing to share.

We visited BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse on Sunday, March 15th at around 2:15pm…read more This is my first time in the area, and couldnt believe how busy of a street this was. Street lined with restaurants, shops, and metered tiny parking spots. We ended up turning on to a back street and driving up a few blocks where we were able to find a spot. Parking meters take card, and allow up two hours which we paid $6 for. This actually was pretty cheap for what I thought it would be so as long as your okay with walking, coming on a busy weekend mid-day will be okay for you. We walked about 4 blocks down and arrived in front of the restaurant. It definitely looks cool and matches the beach vibe with both patio and indoor seating. When we walked over to the hostess she asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area. I replied letting her know we would be open to whatever would be fastest. She looked back at the bar area where there was ample seating and I pointed to the far back corner while saying "maybe over there?" She replied to choose anywhere. We walked over to the far corner right next to the bar side and sat down...this is where it started going downhill. She walked over with the menus and stops at my side. She then says "are we waiting on others orrrrrr......?" And I responded with "No.... just us." She said "UHHHHHH.OKAY?." and placed the menus down on our table. Mind you this was a 6 top table...and if there was a problem with choosing this table, she should have personally walked over and showed us to whatever table she wanted us seated at instead of letting us pick ourselves AFTER I pointed this specific table out to her. Since I was very annoyed at her attitude with that response, I stopped her and asked "do you want us to move?" She replied with "NO. I guess youre fine since its not busy." NOW. I worked as a hostess for a busy steakhouse in Oceanside. This is NOT how you calculate a seating situation...and involve your guest in your thought process essentially making us feel like we did something wrong. If we werent visiting with family, I would have left, but since the guys were hungry we just went with it. Our server came over and she's the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars, otherwise this visit was purely 1 star or less. Our hostess was very nice and quick. We ordered the sampler appetizer and avocado rolls to start along with two beers and the sparkling Sangria. They all came out relatively quickly and the drinks looked and tasted great! Now, the avocado rolls. I had high hopes for this...but I honestly dont know how it made it onto the menu. It was pure flavorless mush wrapped in tortilla and fried. The sauce that came with it was odd. It wanted to be sweet, but the after taste was like a burnt flavor. The sampler was OK. Mozzarella stick cheese was not gooey at all, the queso was good, the lemon pepper wings were probably the best thing we got the whole visit. The sliders were...okay. We then ordered our mains and I opted for the southwest salad and we also got the jambalaya and turkey club. Turkey club was enjoyed, the jambalaya shrimp tasted extremely fishy so that was bad. My southwest salad was one of the worst salads i've ever had, sadly. The taste of the dressings was so old, like a dressing that was refrigerated, left out, then put back into the fridge a week ago. Now the lettuce, it was very warm lettuce with the chicken being warm inching to cold. It was such an off putting combo of taste and temperature I immediately had to stop eating. We ended up ordering one more drink and asking for the check. I will definitely not be revisiting this spot. There are so many cool looking restaurants nearby on the same street to spend your money at, but very cool area to come and walk around!

There are so many booths that if I come back again, I definitely want to make more time to try and go through all of them lol. One thing I loved was that if you stand near the Roasted Loaded Potato and Baby Mini Donuts booths, you get such a good view of the HB pier and the ocean! And bonus points if it's during golden hour! What a sight!! Food-wise, my friend and I ended up getting a Roasted Loaded Potato with cheese and bacon bits. We forgot to add seasoning (whoops ), but the bacon bits definitely added great flavor! We also ordered a Carne Asada Burrito from one of the taco stands, and it was so nice that they were able to customize it and cut it in half so we could share. The meat was super juicy and the cheese had that perfect "stretchy pull" when you try to take a bite lol. So much flavor!! As for samples, I got to try the Cinnamon Explosion from the Baby Mini Donuts booth and it was phenomenal!! There was also a Coconut Water booth where I sampled their Coconut Coffee, an interesting combo, but honestly something I'd come back and try again at full size despite not being a big coconut person. Lastly, I tried the Cucumber Pineapple refresher from a fruit drinks booth and even at sample size it was so refreshing! Overall, l'd definitely come back!

My favorite neighborhood spot has officially transformed into a full-blown Christmas popup bar, and…read morehonestly? I'm convinced the elves unionized and took over--because these vibes are WORKING. They've decked the halls, the walls, and possibly a few patrons. The seasonal drink menu is the kind of festive chaos I aspire to be: cocktails with names that sound like they were brainstormed by reindeer ready to make pour decisions on their lunch break, plus holiday snacks that taste like warm nostalgia. Don't worry--if you're not ready to commit to full peppermint-mocha-gingerbread-eggnog energy, you can still order all your regular favorites. Yes, you can sip a classic old fashioned while surrounded by tinsel and an inflatable snowman staring directly into your soul. Balance. They've also kept all the essentials: football games on the TVs (because nothing says "holiday spirit" like yelling at referees) and trivia night where you can prove, once and for all, that you do know the capital of Estonia. AND there's a popup photobooth, which is the perfect place to document your seasonal joy, your seasonal chaos, or your seasonal regret--dealer's choice. In short: if you want festive drinks, cozy snacks, impeccable vibes, and the chance to take a photo that will haunt your family Christmas card for years, this is the place. 10/10 I will jingle my bells here again.
