A truly beautiful spiritual experience for me. I did the 10 day silent retreat in May and…read moreabsolutely loved it. I meditated a lot and it was one of the few times in my adult life I've ever felt such a deep level of peace in my mind and soul. The food was also phenomenal and I'm not even usually a vegetarian. This is the real deal for a spiritual retreat not just some frou-frou trendy thing for soft spoiled people wanting a spa experience, their ego catered to and needing their hand held throughout. It was transforming for me. I was there on my own spiritual journey and it was beautiful. I brought nicotine lozenges because I'd been a 30 year pack a day smoker and used those and I simply never smoked again after I left because I no longer desired to. Much spiritual clarity was found within as I sat still within nature and myself. I am going back for a 3 week silent retreat this coming May for more stillness and quiet contemplation. The tirth is very open and respecting of all people and ways of being and beliefs. I am Taoist and found this a perfect very healing and holy space for contemplation of the soul and being. If I could afford to spend a year there in silent meditation, I would do so in a heartbeat. It still might be possible so I am not ruling it out. Until then though I look forward to my next visit. I also highly recommend the yoga classes and found them very refreshing and a nice chance to gather and quietly focus our energies and bodies together with others. (For clarity: Ben R. Is not my real name; I do not share my real name on social media.)

The cows made me a vegetarian on my first visit (this is obviously a longer story, but my daughter likes to tell people that). I found a thread of myself there, a self I'd known and forgotten, a self that isn't a self because we are all one and everything is illusion (science), a foot back on my life path. Every time I return, I feel like I'm coming home. Try it out, you may find yourself there. You may find self love. You might just find a peaceful atmosphere and really yummy vegetarian food. If you take a course, you will learn something. If you do the work, you will grow. It's a safe place to just be you. No, it isn't perfect. You might have to find someone if you need something, but everyone is kind and wants to help. In all the many winter trips I've taken there, I've never been cold in the rooms. All the rooms I've stayed in have a self controlled pilot light heater and wall unit AC. I'm a well traveled, overly opinionated, neurodivergent, scientifically-minded woman, and I come back here again and again because there is no other place that gives me such peace, such hope, such momentum as Siddhayatan Tirth no matter how many minor annoyances I experience (I'm sooo easily irritated by silly things like having to ask for things or when things aren't as expected where schedule-wise or physically) haha...if I can relax, you've got a chance).

We were eager to compare these establishments. Regrettably, we had to cancel our visit due to a discrepancy between the online booking price and the actual cost. It is important to note that we made the booking directly through the spa's website. While most businesses are not legally obligated to rectify errors, reputable companies prioritize customer satisfaction and often collaborate with customers to resolve such issues. Unfortunately, this spa did not demonstrate this commitment. Consequently, I would have to rate this spa below two stars due to its lack of customer satisfaction and service.

After seeing my friends luscious lashes I immediately regretted my decision. Luckily, a few months later they offered the deal again and I snatched it up. I of course waited until almost the end of the redemption period to schedule an appointment (procrastination is one of my weaknesses) and I was having trouble finding an appointment in their online scheduler that would fit my schedule. Sarah was the aesthetician that did her lashes, but was no longer accepting groupon customers because her regular client list is fairly large. My friend put in a good word for me, and I was able to get in with her! I was ready for my lashes! Sarah was as wonderful as my friend said...she was very welcoming and asked me what kind of look I was going for (in the past at another place they only seemed to offer the stripper look). She did exactly as I asked and I left with a very natural, yet flirty look. The groupon came with the option for a fill special so I decided to go for it and will be going back for my 2nd fill next week. The lashes last for about 3 weeks before they start looking patchy, but even on the last day before my fill I still got compliments. Brandy's Spa also offers airbrush tanning, waxing, and facials.

I passed this salon while on the tollway the other day, googled, and came across a groupon. I figured for $25 it was worth checking out. I'd never done any kind of detox wrap like this, so I was excited to try it! The staff members here were very nice and accommodating. The interior is very PINK! For the body wrap, you get undressed, put on a synthetic cloth jumpsuit (almost jail-couture-esque, fancyyyy!;) and then you're zipped into a sleeping bag sort of thing that heats. you. UP. You cook for about an hour on 130° and then you're good to go! I've literally never, ever, EVER seen or felt my bod be so drenched in sweat. I actually felt really great afterwards though, and although it was quite HOT, it was totally doable. TIP: Bring a book to read or perhaps your cell phone to preoccupy yourself with. Might as well give it a try! Sweating that much has GOT to burn some calories and I know I'd much rather lay there and burn than burn it up in the gym! Yes, lazy... I know....

In comparison to my prior visits, my facial this year (Jan. 2026) was not comprehensive. The specialist did not include my neck and décolletage in the facial or a steam session. When I asked about it, I was told that those areas are only done by request. I found this to be odd because I was taught that the neck and décolletage always get the same treatment as the face. I never had to make such requests in the past. This exception is not stated on the website. The extraction process was minimal at best and I definitely had a significant area that I had to finish extracting/smoothing at home on my own. The shoulder massage was lackluster - I specified medium pressure on my intake form. The pressure used was very light. When I asked for firmer pressure, there was minimal improvement. I won't give up on Spa Habitat yet but I'll try a different location and ask questions ahead of time about the staff and what service levels to expect. My prior visits were fantastic so I'm disappointed that I can't say the same for 2026. The products used for the facial and the apothecary mud wrap were great.
