Our all-day water-side waiter Nico, his brother who carved our fresh sea bass at lunch (didn't catch his name!), and Jeremy at the check-in desk were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This kind of service is rare and truly appreciated. I can't wait to come back tomorrow! The ATMs all try to trick you into paying a 6-14% conversion fee. Just hit decline and pay the $5 fee. Stay away from Euronet ATM machines everywhere in Europe. Terrible. But yes Monterosso Al Mare is a beautiful place with incredible food, people, swimming, and activities.
