There are a few tables outside where you can actually see the Caribbean from your table. I found the tables inside to be chilly with A/C blowing, but some may like this. My waitress did not speak English, so that's always more difficult. I had previously sampled some pastries, so went in for a healthier meal. I had 2 poached eggs on grilled deli ham on whole wheat bread. Eggs were cooked perfectly. $100 pesos.

I also had the breakfast with chorizo and eggs which was good, especially the bread. The cardamom roll was delicious as well. Most, if not everything, is made in-house. It's right near the popular Wet Wendy's if you feel like popping over for a margarita afterwards. And a visit to Coz has become a must for me. The aforementioned avocado toast. And the smoothie made with yogurt, honey, avocado and a dash of espresso. It looks grayish, but ignore that, as it is very tasty. The coffee is really excellent. And I now find myself buying a pound to bring back. I've found that it brews nicely with an Aeropress and with a Chemex. Different methods of extraction but both are enjoyable. I default to the standard James Hoffmann recipe for the Aeropress, alternating with the Jonathon Gagne recipe. For Chemex, I use the FourSix method. Highly highly recommended.

Staff was friendly enough, with Erika taking my order, but I still can't understand why the wait was so long, especially as I didn't see anyone ordering multiple drinks or carrying them out on a tray. The cafe itself was nothing special and frankly could have used a bit of a freshening up, though the outside area seemed quite nice and had the weather been a bit nicer, I would have considered sitting out there but the winds were far too wicked for that.
