Weird and scammy.
I walked in for a foot and head massage. After looking at the menu I decided to go all out and get a 100 min full body massage and foot massage, with foot spa. They bring the menu to you, and myself and the manager (or owner, she seemed like the boss) pointed to the $100. It comes with a 10min foot spa, now I know a "foot spa" is a bucket of warm water, so I asked to skip the foot spa and just take a 90 min massage. She said "okay", and prepared the foot spa water. Telling me it's free anyway. Ummm...?
When my foot massage was finished in the open room they said I was done, so I put my shoes on and headed to the desk to just get outta there. Then the manager realized and ushered me back into the room.
I had a pretty good 60min full body massage I must say. But why the karate chops during a relaxing massage hey!? And masseuses talking / arguing in Chinese doesn't exactly help the ambiance!
I finished up and she charged me $130. Telling me I had the $100 massage with the $30 upgrade option. WTF!? We both know I touched the board on top of the $100. You auto upgraded me. I feel scammed.
You think that you have made an extra $30, but really you lost $100 from me telling my fiancé not to go get a massage there later that day. read more
