First, the building itself is fantastic! As Jonathan explained it, it used to be about 300 feet up the hill from where it originally stood, and was scheduled to be torn down. If we are in the area again, I will be back for a massage! The only downside to this spa is it doesn't have your typical spa amenities, I wouldn't take off stars for it but it would be nice if it had a dipping pool, sauna room or something additional to set the mood. I double-checked, and each one said: "May be repurchased every 90 days. Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as gift(s)." This was listed on each of the options. They also said "New customers only." I'm a brand new customer, so that wasn't a problem. When I called to schedule my appointment, the calls went straight to voicemail. I kept getting callbacks from a private number, and my phone is usually set to not receive those kinds of calls. When I realized who was calling me (she left a voicemail), I had to change the feature to be able to receive the call. Okay, no problem. We connected today. But when she mentioned the two appointments, I mentioned that I had also purchased the other option, too. She then explained their policy, indicating I couldn't use the option with the one appointment. I would have been fine with that, but she asked me to pull up the Groupon and read the details. I did, and they conflicted with what she had just explained to me. She also said I wouldn't be a new customer anymore after the first appointment, and that confused me because one of the Groupons was for TWO appointments. Was I going to be allowed to use it? I explained why I had interpreted the verbiage the way I had, just because it seemed like she wasn't understanding what I meant, and right as I was about to offer to get a refund, she said she had "important calls coming in" and she just hung up on me.
