Avoid using this company for any and ALL of your real estate needs whether purchasing or renting…read more the management is awful. Josh Quesada is a liar and swindler. They will make things up in order to keep your deposit. Very spiteful for us not renewing our lease and purchasing a home elsewhere. Charges for nail holes from hanging maybe 6 pictures throughout the house, because they don't consider someone paying a ridiculous rent Well before the due date every single month and sometimes 2 months in advance, and hanging a few pictures as normal wear and tear. We didn't paint anything in this house but we are being charged for the touch up paint that was used before we moved it being a different texture. They go through employees left and right and will not respond to emails or phone calls. I put in several requests for work and no one would call me or respond. Eventually, Kevin contacted me and I was able to get somewhere. The others around there are miserable to deal with. Again, avoid dealing with these crooks. Edited: Kevin said he was calling me right now at around 7:30. It's now 9:20 and I haven't gotten that call.... The review is accurate and his explanations are ridiculous and invalid at best. If we can come to some sort of resolution about the charges for paint and nail holes, and charging me for yard maintenance which was done the day before inspection, and much more, then I may edit or even remove, but as of now, I dont see anything happening to resolve these issues. I never said I expect all of it back. I agreed on a couple of charges, IE diagnosis of an electrical issue, but never agreed for AIM to send a licensed electrician to change light bulbs and charging me $400. If these bills are from AIM's vendors, they should reevaluate the people they hire to do work because charging me $250 for mowing and trimming the yard is utterly ridiculous.

We were exploring AirBnb'ing our vacation home for the first time and came across For Rent in…read moreBeaufort. We didn't know anything about the process and didn't want to manage our own rental. For Rent in Beaufort made the process a breeze. We didn't hear a peep about our renters and our home was kept in immaculate shape. They are super responsive and helped in many ways.. helping us through the inspection process, minor repairs, coordinating services while we were away, receiving shipments of supplies for the home, ensuring everything was in tip top shape between rentals. We sold our 1st rental and purchased another and went right back to For Rent in Beaufort since we were so happy with their services. Highly recommend!!

We rented an apartment from For Rent in Beaufort between May 11-13, 2024 for a Mother's Day weekend…read moregetaway with my wife and my parents. The apartment was cute though the rennovation work was clearly DIY (LVP gaps, missing trimwork, gaps between tile and walls not covered, etc.). We were fine with it since the price was reasonable. The issues we did have, however, were 1) the internet was not working, 2) the coffee maker was not working, and 3) the management company was not very professional. We arrived on Saturday and I had to log into work after driving several hours to get there due to some pressing business. However, no where in the apartment were there any instructions about what the wifi name is much less the password for logging on. Seems like a pretty standard "must-have" for an STR, especially since the TV ran off a Fire Stick. There was contact information for the management company so I texted them for the wifi details, which they did provide but after connecting to the wifi, the internet still wasn't working, not even on the TV. After a couple of hours of searching the apartment (every cabinet, closet, furniture, etc.) and texting back and forth with FRIB, the agent finally tells us that the wifi router is in the unit below us (I mentioned from the start of the conversation that we were in unit 2, which is upstairs). Fortunately, it was not rented so I was able to get access and reset the router. A few hours wasted that didn't need to be, but which also caused us to miss our planned activities for the evening. Whatever, was willing to let it slide, but then the next morning we find out the coffee maker is not working. We Googled the instruction manual, even watched YouTube videos for it in case there was some new-fangled trick to it. Never got it working so we went out for breakfast and when we got back to the apartment that evening, I texted FRIB again and let them know the coffee maker wasn't working. Again, there was some back and forth texting in which it was mentioned the coffee maker was new and should be working, so the next day we tried again. Again, it would not work. Again we texted. This time she mentions that the coffee maker is broken but there should also be a Keurig next to the coffee maker. I reminded her that the ad said a coffee maker and not a Keurig (Keurigs are not as common as regular coffee makers and require single serve pods, which unless you have one, you won't have the pods and certainly would not want to buy a pack of them for one weekend). I also reminded her that the kitchen was stocked with regular ground coffee, not K-pods. There was no apology. No offer to run over some pods, or a working coffee pot, or give some money back for the (now repeated) troubles. Nothing. Not even a response a week later. Based on the profile pictures on their website, it appears this company is run by a couple of kids with a dream and no experience (not in STR management, customer service, nor in professionalism). We originally had reservations at the Best Western, which was actually cheaper, but thought it would be nice to have us in one place where we could wake up, have coffee and breakfast together, etc. Instead, we spent half the weekend waiting for the non-coffee drinkers to wake up so we could get the heck out of there and find some coffee (and food), negating the whole reason we cancelled the hotel and opted for a STR.

If I could give a zero rating, I would. We lived in our rental in Bluffton for 2 years, never paid…read morerent late and barely asked for maintenance help when things weren't working correctly. In the end, ForeShore has NO INTENTION of giving your deposit back. They expect you to repaint every wall if you hang a picture. They also charge you for bulbs out on the microwave, which weren't out that we knew of before we moved out. They also make you pay for a full carpet cleaning which costs 500-600.00 and only their approved cleaning company to deep clean your house which also costs between 500-600. So, they get their money from your deposit and charge ridiculous amounts so you don't get it back. We paid $2795.00 and we were sent a check for $10.00. This rental company is out to make as much money as they can, and screw the renters. Please make sure to read every fine print on your lease. They do NOT CARE about anyone but their growth in revenue. Beware. And the outside "realtor" people are extremely rude and condescending. I am a 48 year old professional and have NEVER not received more than 2/3 of my deposit. So, just know that your deposit is not refundable when it comes to this money hungry company. They have a monopoly in Bluffton b/c of the demand there. Good for them. They messed with our livelihood and took our hard-earned money b/c they suck!
