I felt like he was taking out his anger on me, for I don't know what because we didn't really speak. I love a firm massage but this was way too painful. I left hurting more than when I went in. Every time I told him it was hurting he said it needs to hurt because I have knots. He would ease up and then go back at it with all his force, primarily with his elbow. He seemed to be more focused on massaging my gluts which made me uncomfortable as I came in for a shoulder and back massage. I only went for 30 min and was dying for it to be over because it hurt so much. By that evening my entire back was blotchy with bruises from the massage that I had to soak in Epsom salts and couldn't sleep all night from the pain. 2 days later my back is still sore to the touch and the bruises are even darker .... NEVER AGAIN! This is what I get for going for the cheap convenient place in the mall.

I left a message and was called back in a relatively short time. There are 4 therapists running this center together. So no tip needed. Technically I would only rate the place 4.5 since I have only been there once. I am definitely going back again and will update. Tan 2 story building. Plenty of parking. Very easy to find, a minute or two from North St Shopping center on Rt 37 North towards New Fairfield between the dentist building and plaza of Sal's Pizza. My partner and I came here for a couple's massage through Groupon for the first time ever expecting…read morea relaxing experience, but the way we were treated completely ruined it. As soon as the two female staff members came in to do our massages, one said something to the other in Mandarin and they both bursted out laughing while we were on the table. This happened multiple times throughout the session and felt very unprofessional. When clients are lying there vulnerable, it's not appropriate to be joking back and forth with each other. It made the experience uncomfortable. The massage itself was also rough and weird. At one point, the massage therapist literally hoisted herself onto my massage table, putting her legs on either side of my head (so my head is INBETWEEN her legs) and started digging her elbow into my shoulder blade so hard that I had to ask her to lighten the pressure. At first, I tried deep breathing through it instead of asking her to adjust but it was so incredibly painful that I couldn't take it anymore and had to ask. She did adjust the pressure, but hours later that area is still very sore, and my partner says his back feels bruised as well. He also had the same experience with his massage therapist putting her legs on the table with his head inbetween. Is this seriously standard for a massage? What really crossed the line, though, was what happened afterward. After the massage, the woman at the front demanded a tip. I explained that we didn't have our wallets with us, but instead of understanding, she became aggressive and confrontational. She had the audacity to say, "In America everyone tips. You tip here." The interaction felt more like being cornered and bullied rather than a suggestion. My poor partner immediately went to grab his phone and see if he could tip them via Apple Pay to get her to stop harassing us. I told her if this was a requirement, post it on the website or make it part of the fine print on the Groupon because the way she was trying to force us was wildly inappropriate. Let me be clear: The service was already paid for. And TIPPING IS VOLUNTARY. Pressuring customers and shaming them over it is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Your clients don't OWE you anything other than paying for the service, especially after screaming at them for gratuity. What should have been a relaxing visit ended with us leaving uncomfortable and shocked by how we were treated. Between the constant side conversations and laughing during the massage, the overly rough and painful treatment, and the aggressive demand for a tip afterward, the entire experience felt disrespectful and poorly run. This business opened in May 2025 so it's fairly new. I would recommend they make major improvements with how they treat customers if they want to last. If relaxation and professionalism matter to you, I would keep looking.
