I drove over there quickly to get a one hour foot massage. The place is definitely clean and quiet with a the semi-private room being a de facto private one since no one else was around. The staff doesn't really speak much English but once you lie down you're taken care of pretty well. My 60 minute foot massage was good, a nice soak and a pretty good rubdown of my feet. I also got a pretty good head and neck massage for about a good 20 minutes as well and for 30 bucks, which is a hard to find price. While most places during the pandemic have a preference for card/touchless they actually have a sign that requests the opposite. But they are good massage therapists and they tried really hard to make me feel comfortable, more than other places I've been to. The rooms are VERY roomy, and very clean. I was surprised as I am a bit of clean snob. I had very specific needs with specific places and they really listened to me, even though yes it did take a little longer to explain. Prices aside, their service and quality exceeded pretty much any massage I've ever gotten. The people who work here are nice, clean, and great people. I came in here when I was 2cm dilated and 39 weeks pregnant. I have been trying for weeks to get an appointment down the hill but they have been booked (Lido) or they kept hanging up on me when I asked for an appointment (Miracle Springs). My doula said a friend liked it so I went in for a half and half: foot massage and body massage combo. First, I was taken into a main room with a few beds parallel to each other. The backs could zoom up like a hospital bed. My clothes were kept on. They put my personal belongings in a basket and placed my bare feet in hot water. Temperature was perfect. A towel was placed over my eyes with a brief scalp massage. The foot massage was more therapeutic than relaxing. They popped all my toes. They massaged between the toes. They used a warming lotion and some kind of heating prop on my calves. I wish there was more of that. They moved me to a room for a body massage. It was amazing. They regularly checked in about pressure. They used a hot cloth on my back, up my spine. It was amazing. I felt like I was floating. The short answer is that Zen Spa Massage provides massage services comparable in experience to what I would expect from a high end resort or from a cruise ship spa, but at the rate of a dollar per minute. I am giving them high marks for both providing an exceptional service and great value. Prior to their opening my wife had to travel to the lower desert for a decent massage, but not anymore. The details of the foot massage are as follows. The foot massage in performed in a large room that can service four customers at once. They place your feet in a bath to soak while they work on a scalp and facial massage. After the scalp massage they work on your feet. And after the foot massage they have you turn over and work on your back. It was actually a lot more than I expected for being labeled as a foot massage. My wife described the 90 minute body massage as being similar to a Lomi Lomi massage. She said it was wonderful, and she is already scheduling to go back. She is happy, so I am happy. Oh, the body massages are performed in private rooms. My opinion is that Zen Spa Massage is professional yet affordable. It's like a Massage Envy service, but without the subscription or commitment. Me and my husband went in for a couple massage. It was $60 for an hour each person. A great price, but does not include feet. You can pay additional for it. It was very relaxing and the music was just right. The room and whole facility was clean. Easy to walk around in, no stairs, and all flat floors. The inside has lovely art on the walls and the furniture matched. They used hot stones which was great. We never have had that before, and it was relaxing. Great experience. They have a great staff. Very nice and listened to us well. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is because, they have little staff and when the phone rings no one answers. The person giving the massage did not apply firm pressure upon request while working with troubled areas. The worst part of my experience was after the massage ended and I went up front to pay. I loved coming to Zen Spa Massage during my pregnancy for their $30/60 minute foot massage. It helped me relax and feel better in my body, starting in the second trimester, all the way through postpartum. I had no swelling during pregnancy, and I think monthly massages definitely helped. They even have a buy "10 foot massages, get one free" punch card. I had a different massage therapist just about every time, but they were all wonderful and very professional. Everyone was super accommodating with my pregnant belly, and made me feel very well taken care of. I walked in every time (no appointment), and never had a problem being seen right away.
