The environment is the best I have experienced in my dealing with chronic pain. With a highly skilled, trained and educated staff they go above and beyond with a human side and bedside manner I have yet to see in any other medical facility or clinic. They accept medical insurance and also provide to anyone as payment for services. I was fortunate to have their care covered through the VA by TriWest. In order to get that set up I had to visit my primary provider and asked for chiropractor referral. Within a couple weeks I was scheduled with Dr JP at Center for Health. As a patient who has gotten hurt from over ambitious physical therapists in the past I was hesitant of attempting to start treatment again but so glad I did with this clinic, especially since they are located in the Morongo Basin and other clinics specializing in myofascial release are a good hour and a half drive from 29 Palms. The massage therapy with myofascial release is worth paying for if insurance doesn't cover it but thankfully TriWest includes massage along with chiropractor evaluation and adjustment, physical with the nurse practitioner and physical therapy and rehabilitation. If you're in pain and don't want to throw prescriptions at it, definitely worth coming into Center for Health and letting them help you.

I text Miranda and she says they just got into a car accident (which is what happened to another reviewer below and now seems oddly suspicious). Regardless, she says someone should be there in an hour. About an hour and a half later, someone finally shows up. Massages were great but already ruined the day with the lateness. Miranda agreed to refund the cost of the bachelor's massage, but it has now been nearly a month since the booking and no refund has been given. Overall, good massages but not worth the hassle of unreliability.

I would not recommend coming here if you don't need deep tissue massage. I went in for a normal…read morecouples massage today and left feeling bruised from how hard the massage therapist pressed on me. I was only checked on once at the very beginning of the massage. Not to mention our 90 minute massage was more like an hour, as we were left sitting for at least 20 minutes waiting for them before the massage and it ended 10 minutes early. They are also not at all communicative about pricing. A 90 minute couples massage is estimated at $353.60 after tax. They add on a 10% transaction fee WITHOUT TELLING YOU. I only learned that's what it was from another review. They add that fee to the tip as well. So if you value your time and money, I would recommend going elsewhere.
