[[HIGHLIGHT]]I am incredibly disappointed with my experience here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I chose this salon based on the beautiful work showcased on their social media page, only to discover that they are watermarking and reposting stolen photos from Pinterest to pass them off as their own work. Slapping a "Zen Nail Lounge" logo onto another artist's work to mislead customers about your skill level is blatant false advertising. Because of those photos, I expected a high level of quality, but the set I actually received looks incredibly sloppy and unprofessional. Worse than the poor nail job, however, were the hygiene standards. I watched the technician reuse single-use items like nail buffers and files that had clearly been used on previous clients. Reusing disposable tools is a major health code violation and completely unsanitary. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Between the deceptive photos and the lack of basic cleanliness, I will not be returning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are looking for honest advertising and a clean, sanitary environment, look elsewhere. They also cut cuticles when that is against the law in Idaho. You're allowed to push them back, not cut them. read more

I will not go back. Very expensive and the nail tech didn't understand English. I wanted a basic pedicure with gel. I didn't realize the session was so short. I had to ask to have my toenails trimmed more because he hardly trimmed them. Came in for an acrylic fill. Was expecting to pay closer to the advertised $50 and my total came to $70. They did not even trim my cuticles. I left with acrylic overflowing my nails onto my skin. I made an appointment for my MIL, daughter, and myself to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The technicians all cut corners every chance they got and did not provide the full service. They didn't do any callus removal or paraffin wax when I got the zen signature package. Madison was the tech for my daughter and was incredibly rude and refused to paint her fingernails because in her " professional" opinion it was "a waste". She then charged us full price for my daughter's mini mani/pedi even though she literally only painted her toes. No little foot massage, nail cutting, or buffing. When the other two technicians finished with our pedicures, they just got their coats on and left without saying a word while we were just sitting in the chairs waiting for our nails to dry. This place was great at first but all of the best people have left. The last time I came here (not that long ago), my acrylic started falling apart on multiple nails within a little over a week. I decided to take my business elsewhere. That's a hard decision since there really aren't that many good places in town. Perhaps when they get more staff etc, I'll try again. Been here 3-4 times. I've always had to wait at least 30-40 minutes even though I had an appointment. (Only waited 10-15 yesterday) Two times were great but nail techs no longer work there. This last time was the worst nails I've ever had anywhere. (Phuong) She was so fast she wasn't paying attention. I had to keep pointing out mistakes to fix. She put super glue under all my nails next to my skin - who does that? I've been digging out super glue all day, it made them globby. I've never paid 65.00 for a fill in my life - granted I came in with three nails off, but they are horrible. Globs of polish on my fingers. - wen I asked her to take the polish off my fingers she said it would come off when I washed my hands. IT DID NOT. Polish is not even along my cuticle - just looks like my 15 year old daughter did them. Extremely disappointed especially for the price. read more

I was not impressed with this salon. Paid $53 for dip (manicure not included), three nails are starting to chipping after two days and I am not hard on my nails (usually lasts me 3 weeks). My guess is that because they were rushing and did my dip and pedicure at the same time (awkward, uncomfortable and unnecessary), they were not able to take time to ensure dip/top coat was covering all nails. Also paid for the upgraded pedicure ($50) to have hot stones and towels, extended message, total time for my pedicure was less than 30 minutes and being distracted by having my nails/dip done at the same time I was not able to enjoy or relax. Polish is also see through and streaky on toes, which I didn't notice till I got home, maybe one or two light coat of polish. Not sure why this dual service is a practice they do but after spending over $100 (before tip) I do not feel it was worth my money, felt rushed out and will not return. Had dip and upgraded pedicure in less time than another lady that arrived the same time as me for a full set... This place is great. Top of the line equipment. Very clean. Great products. My daughter and I both had hour nails done. She had her acrylics filled and I had a dip manicure. We also each had a zen pedicure. My toes look and feel amazing. My nails are awesome. My daughter loves her nails. My daughter had a toe that was injured and Ally was able to work gently around it and even it looks great. My instructions were followed exactly and I'm picky! I'm also highly allergic and usually itch after a pedicure, however no reaction whatsoever to their products. Love this place. Will definitely return. read more

Don't leave reviews often but being new to the area and hearing how many people are moving here figured I should share my experience. Gave this place not one but three tries. The first time I requested the zen pedicure because I saw it comes with the paraffin wax which is my favorite part. By the time they were done I never saw the wax and paid full price for the pedicure. Ok my fault I should have spoken up. Second time I requested the same. Halfway through they tell me they don't have the paraffin wax so they'll charge me for the deluxe but then used gel nail polish even tho I didn't request it and had regular on previously. They were just wanting to close so didn't want to wait for them to dry even though someone else was still in the salon getting their nails done. Every time I've walked in, including this third time they take a few minutes to decide if they want to accept my business. Not very welcoming, more like you're a bother. After climbing into bed and my feet feeling like sand paper on the sheets.. I looked at my foot this morning and this is what I see. Don't mind the sock fuzz but my toe should not look or feel like this after a hundred dollar pedicure. Most expensive and worst pedicures I've ever received. read more

As soon as I sat down the lady told me I needed a "brow wax". That was not a very good way to start out my manicure. She had very little patience with me and kept telling me my nails were "too short" and that they would not end up looking good because of how short they were. I am so glad that people are starting to realize that this place is a rip off! I have tried to give it several chances but every time it is something. The nail technicians are very rude and when I go to pay it is twice the amount of what it says it is supposed to be.
