Overpriced and dismissive bud tenders. Product was sub par at best. Limited product and overall a bad experience

Hooray medical card reciprocity! It helped me skip the holiday surge queue like I was a member of the Matterhorn Club. Prices for cannabis are ridiculous in Chicago, even with a med card, so I make the Kessel Run to find my Zen regularly. The same Airo vapes (love the flavor and hits off those) that run $60 for half grams in the city are thirty for full grams cartridges here. Selection is excellent across Zen locations. I love the Airo and Drip vapes and Wana and Wyld gummies. If you're bargain hunting, you will find many deals-cheap, bulk flower from any of the strains on hand in the bins or gummies and vapes for less than what you spend on lunch. Watch out for the man outside on Buchanan's Main Street. Just a soon as I loaded up and pulled my illegal U turn, I got lit up and pulled over. Lucky for me I knew enough to wait until I got home to toke, and the guy took mercy on me when he saw my Mom calling my cell (true story) and let me go with a warning. read more

I find it funny that the negative reviews go unanswered on here, yet the positive reviews are responded to immediately. Cannavista is right down the street, and they have amazing customer service! Carts are $5-10 cheaper for the exact same product. They also stand behind the products they sell. Do yourself a favor and avoid Zen leaf! Arielle I've already sent an email to that very address 2 times and they've gone unanswered. I've called as well and was told both times someone would get back to me and I haven't heard anything. The best vibes you can ask for from a dispensary. The had the perfect person at the counter checking IDs(Jess G.) super chill and inviting! The energy is so relaxing inside. Very clean and organized. Basil was such a help with me and a friend choosing our products. Extremely knowledgeable and patient. We went in 15 mins to close and there was absolutely no attitude or pressure to rush. It really sucks especially when you're getting quite a lot, it happens so often.. this time they didn't give me a pre packed 8ths of the Titty Sprinkles.. Let's just be honest here. The products they offer are top-notch. The service is brutal! 40 min wait for my online pickup order that is ready for pickup. They allow people to add on to their online pickup order which defeats the purpose of online ordering. Just using up my points and this will be the last time I come here. read more

Despite the name of the town (Buchanan) being misspelled, Zen Leaf is a great dispensary. They have well priced, quality products and, unlike many places, you can see and smell them. The budtenders are pretty knowledgeable and always glad to take the time and help you choose your products. You can also shop online and have your order ready for pickup, or just use the online store to choose your goods before you get there! Also make sure you sign up for their loyalty points. I used to give Zen 5 stars until recently. They used to have glass jars which kept the flower fresher and from smelling up your car on the way home. Now they have cheap plastic bags that will be littered all over the place. I'd been saving my points for some time now and they are supposed to be good for six months but they've been taking my points away a couple hours after I get them, I think because they don't want me to have as many as I have. Then I get a notification saying my points expire soon and I need to use them. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place to accumulate those points and once I'm close to my goal they start taking them away. Another time I was scolded by a lady for viewing their menu on my phone. I'm pretty fed up with Zen at this point and am actively looking for a new place to shop. Their flower is good but it's also the most expensive of any of the dispos in the area. They act like any other shady corporation and I'm not one to give my hard earned money to a company like that, especially a cannabis company. read more
