In 2020 for my new Marin home in Fairfax, Pat used his 40+ years experience to excavate over 1,400 cubic yards for the home's concrete foundation. Wall cuts of over 22-feet high. He also drilled the hillside for over forty 12-foot tie-backs for the engineered hillside retention safety system. Pat's a resourceful, reliable team player, knowledgeable, and on-time with fair pricing. See photos of the project's excavation. The best there is. Highly recommended.

We have over 3 acres that we required slope repair, extensive grading and trenching, rip rap, along with trenching and drilling for a190 lineal foot retaining wall. We also were required to install a 1K foot long fire line for a fire hydrant on our property. La Tray Engineering Construction passed ALL inspections by all county and private inspection agencies working for the County the first time every time. We were amazed at Mr. La Tray's coordination skills with these agencies and how smooth the inspection processes went without any disruption of work schedules. I will hire La Tray Engineering Construction again without a doubt and have recommended this company to my friends in Sleepy Hollow and Kentfield who have also used him for similar work and were very happy with his performance and proffessional approach to work. His years of Experience and unfailing integrity are everything. Mrs. Kathleen Y. Marin County property owner.

From the first day that owner Bruce Linscott came on site to assess options until the day when we received final approval for the completed work, the company performed in a highly efficient and professional manner. In addition to the on-site work itself, I appreciate the personal commitment to developing a series of alternative solutions despite multiple challenges posed by coordination with neighbors and city public works and building departments. Over and over again, Bruce and his crews identified problems or potential ones and resolved them without skipping a beat. For instance, Bruce recommended an expert horizontal directional drilling subcontractor to bore the 100-foot underground run from the street to the holding tank. This approach saved me thousands of dollars and eliminated the disruption of trenching and backfilling the entire length of the driveway. This contributed to the entire project coming in [wait for it] UNDER BUDGET! As with having a top-notch surgeon, I am grateful for all that Linscott Engineering did, hopeful that I won't have to call on them for another major project, and delighted to know that if I do, they will be there to handle it.

The owner and crew are always quick to respond and remedy any situation. As a Property Manager I…read morehighly recommend Bruce Linscott and his crew for your immediate needs.

They then scheduled a time to come out. We went over the project, and I was told it was definitely something they do & getting me a quote would be no problem. Later that day I was informed it would take a couple of weeks to get back with the quote, because they do several bids a day & it takes time to get them out. 3 weeks later (this morning) I get an email saying they won't be bidding my work, because they are changing their scope of work, and this just isn't the kind of job they're looking for. Too bad, because once I learn the building process on my ADU I have plans to move on to doing a small subdivision.... And things will only go up from there. My family has built residential & commercial real estate for decades, and I am presently looking for the right people to use in the future. Not the best way to run a business, but hey.... Maybe they don't think long term & that's ok. Most business like that will peak & by the next generation will diminish into nothing. These guys wasted my time, and ultimately acted too good for my job.
