The crust was good and not soggy on the underside and the sourdough flavor was great. We got the honey goat pizza which, if you're hungry, is a really good size for two people to share. Goat cheese paired really well with the local honey. We got the slush to snack on since we hadn't eaten yet that day and it was decent. We wish they'd put more honey but we see why people like it. Service was friendly and quick, no complaints! It's a cute little north shore truck, pretty Haleiwa. Would recommend if you're on that side!

But its been a steady decline and drop in quality. This is specifically for the Haleiwa location. I've been to the Kailua location once right after they opened; experience was similar but they just opened. Biggest problem: they cant put out food in a timely manner. 30+ min wait for a pizza when there is only one other customer there and 3 employees in the truck. Pizza should not take that long. Pizza: Its OK pizza. The most recent one I got was their Hawaiian (pictured). Very greasy. Pizza is small, one is not going to be a meal for two people. At $23 bucks, its definitely pricey for what you're getting. Sourdough crust has good taste but it either didnt cook all the way through or the grease soaked through and it was a little spongy. Slush: My other problem. Used to be unbelievably good and unique. But the consistency has changed. I Regularly find big ice chunks. It used to be smooth, full-flavored, could taste the fruit; no more. You can get much better just straight ShaveIce with natural fruit flavor at dozens of places on the island. It's a bummer. Ive been a customer since it was a dude and his girlfriend slinging honey slush out of farmers marker tents. As much as I want it to be, Its just not as good anymore.

Driving back from…read moreKahuku the other day, we noticed a pizza food truck just a few steps away from the house where we are staying. He is only open Thursday and Fridays, so wanting pizza on Friday was fortuitous. On a whim I decided to call around 3:00 pm to see if I could order a pizza for a 5:30 pick up. The answer was "yes", and a good thing I did. Because when I went to pick up my pizza, he had to tell a young family he was sorry but he was sold out. So, ordering ahead of time was a really smart move. I ordered a supreme pizza. It was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, green pepper, onions, cheeses, but no mushrooms because he was out of them. That was okay, though. The pizza itself is huge. 20" overflowing the pizza box. Once I got back to the house, we immediately sat down at our table to eat the pizza because it was quite hot. We could only eat two pieces each because of the overall size of the pizza. We now have enough leftover pizza for dinner tonight. Just need to reheat it. This pizza place is quite interesting because it is a trailer attached to his truck on the side of the major road along to coast. He can tow it to different locations if he wanted to. We're just glad that he decided to locate it fairly close to our location.

There's an arcade game named "Jerry's Pizza" which I found hilarious. There's also an old school phone booth in here. Why? I don't know nor care because it's cool. On to the food. We ordered the Italian salad to share among 3 of us - there was plenty to go around! I was very impressed because I didn't find a single wilted piece of greens in it! We ordered a large "Waialua" and we weren't disappointed. No skimping on the toppings, and it was thin crust. Very ono! Overall, awesome Waialua vibes and flavors. My husband and I had the jerk chicken one and it was full of flavor! It had just the right amount of deep fried crunch on the outside and spicy jerk flavor. You heard right, a peach mango rub (made from scratch by Chef D, the owner ) that one would typically put on a slow roasted or smoked meat was thrown on some hot crispy fries with a barbecue drizzle sauce.... Mm mm good . Speaking of the owner, he was serving with his daughter, and their "up" spirits and welcoming smiles created a fun but family atmosphere... great ambiance! Chef D told us his story and how they got there in Hawaii. But most of all his passion for food was very evident.
