I will not be returning to Vein & Cosmetic Center of Tampa Bay (VCCTB). This review reflects my…read morepersonal experience. I first visited VCCTB about 20 years ago for spider veins and IPL treatments. I later returned for Botox and Dysport. While Dr. Hunt handled my vein and laser treatments and Kristin was my injector and laser technician, I was satisfied with my results. After they were no longer my providers, I experienced repeated problems despite several adjustments. I eventually returned to my dermatologist's injector, who used 38 units and achieved the results I wanted. Although my injector does not offer promotional specials, the product was prepared in front of me and the results were excellent. Later, my dermatologist recommended a CO laser treatment for my mild sebaceous hyperplasia and quoted approximately $2,500. During my consultation, VCCTB also confirmed that CO laser treatment was appropriate and offered the procedure at a much lower price, so I decided to give them another try. In February 2026, I received a face-and-neck CO laser treatment for $900. I was told to wait a few months for the full results, but the condition remained. Because my case was mild and the treatment had been recommended by my dermatologist and confirmed by VCCTB, I was disappointed that I saw little to no improvement. I was then quoted an additional $500 for a touch-up, so I decided to return to my dermatologist for further treatment. I also purchased a Mother's Day IPL special and returned three additional times because I was dissatisfied with the results. A YAG laser was used during those visits, but I ultimately returned to my dermatologist for further treatment. Everyone in the office was kind, but the results did not meet my expectations. In addition to IPL, I purchased a 48-unit Botox special after being off Botox for about a year. The placement and results were unsatisfactory, so I returned for eight additional units, but still did not achieve the outcome I expected. I chose VCCTB because of the lower prices and because I had originally been happy with the practice. Unfortunately, the results did not match the quality of care I received from my dermatologist. I am now much happier with my current treatment. My advice is not to choose a treatment based solely on a promotional price.

I trust her completely with all of my laser treatments, and her friendly personality makes every visit enjoyable. I've also been seeing Gina for Hydrafacials and dermaplaning, and she is the best! They do offer quite a bit. I was a little caught off guard with the lightning wipes being an additional cost. Previous conversation seemed like it was included as aftercare because of the need with assisting the procedure to actually be beneficial. I am excited to go back and to see the results of the treatment. She was very transparent that there will be visible results but the problem areas will not be completely revolved after one session! Pro Tip: There is a texting service and there is 10% off service (only- not product) for first time customers... they didn't bring it up but if you mention it, they'll honor it. It is on their website.

She does a fabulous job of consulting, addressing concerns and accessing hair growth and trouble spots as the procedures go on. I first started coming to Artistic Beauty and Laser after purchasing a Groupon. I wanted to get my chin hairs removed because as I've aged, I've noticed a few coarse, dark hairs appearing under my chin. At my initial appointment Jackie offered to do a second area at the Groupon price. I thought about it and decided to take her up on this at my next visit. I didn't just buy the Groupon alone, my sister told me about it and Jackie was able to schedule Saturday appointments for us so that we could come together. At first this was like having a support system because doing your first laser treatment can feel a little nerve racking even if you are excited for the end results. But even if you go alone, Jackie is just so supportive and encouraging that you really don't need to bring anyone along. The office is clean and the staff are efficient. I know many more procedures are done there and advertising posters and brochures can be found in the waiting room. Jackie doesn't do all of these procedures, but I would trust the other staff just based on my experience with her.
