Love it! Why pay more??? I started coming to Venus over a year ago because I was interested in having fillers in my lips prior to my wedding. My lips looked so good that I've had several people compliment and have gotten fillers themselves!! I now go see Jennifer every chance I can to get my lips touched up - but I really feel the fillers last a while for me. The entire staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I love having the additional plump to my lips while still looking natural. They also have really good specials so check out their IG page or website to save even more money. And for anyone who thinks this is watered down product - I can assure you it's not. They are able to price so well because of the large number of units they buy. Going to your doctor who only buys a fraction of what they do and paying double the price seems like a waste of money. I had a lip filler appointment scheduled for 4:30 PM today at the Dale Mabry location. I arrived at 4:07 PM after driving a considerable distance, only to find the office completely closed with the lights off and the doors locked. I had confirmed my appointment by text the day before, so this was very unexpected. I called the location approximately 15 times and also tried calling two other locations, but no one answered. I received no phone call, text, or email letting me know my appointment had been canceled or that the office would be closed. I understand that emergencies can happen, but a simple notification or response would have saved me a long drive and a lot of wasted time. I'm hoping someone from the business reaches out to explain what happened and make this right. read more

I am very dissatisfied with my experience in the last couple of months with Venus. I have been in the past and there seems to be high turnover and can never get the same injector. I initially purchased filler when it was on special for $399 and went in February 2026 to the South Tampa location. I had lip filler done by Maria and she noticed major bruising almost immediately. She was concerned it was vascular occlusion and dissolved the filler and told me I could come back once it healed. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to come back for several months and tried to make an appointment again with another injector at that location in June. The receptionist told me I was unable to go to any other injector. Because I had started the process with Maria, I had to go to her for the remainder and no one else would be able to assist me. I then asked for the manager because I did not get the service I paid for and I was not satisfied and didn't feel comfortable going back to Maria. Then, I was told to call the manager, Cindy at the Countryside location and I explained to her the situation and was told that I could have my services done there by Chau-vy and the credit would transfer from location to location. I went ahead and scheduled my appointment with Chau-vy (which did a great job). She only used about 60% of the filler and told me to come back for the remainder/ touch-up in about a month. She said they normally keep the filler for 30 days, but she would put a note in my chart that I may not be able to come back within that time. When I was done, I was asked to pay $399. I explained again to the receptionist what happened and she called Cindy. Cindy told me that she NEVER said I could transfer the filler credit from that long ago and filler goes bad after 30 days and they throw it away. The problem is that I never received the original service I paid for. She dropped the price to $299. At this point, I have paid $698 for 60% of ONE syringe and I paid for TWO. Because of this, I ended up going back to Chau-by for the remaining amount and it looks great. Just upset that I had to pay so much and will not receive a credit. My mother went recently and now apparently the Countryside location is closing. read more

Time wasted.... after years of being a customer, and needing my appt time to be honored due to my personal time restrictions today- they were running late and the mgr, Tonia, would not honor the special training price for another day. So I spent MY time & gas for nothing. I've been there when I've heard them offer this to customers and was impressed with the customer service, so I'm not sure what has changed, other than maybe the staff... Then Tonia indicated she was the highest person to make this decision - that the next person was the owner and they wouldn't 'bother' him with this. read more

If your looking for a true "Med spa experience" this isn't the place for you. Although the store front, which is literally located in the mall, is okay but the facility is dated and disappointing. There was trash on the floor in the "cubicle" aka treatment room. The treatment room is no frills, crowded and multiple ceiling tiles were hestained, so it made for a super unappealing visual while leaned back starring up at the site during the treatment. If your accustomed to customized pricing for your injectable needs, this is not the place for you either. The pricing is per area, so if you only need a little bit in certain portions of your forehead, this is not the most cost effective route. If you require a lot in one area and looking for a bargain no frills experience than this place will work. Although the NP administering the treatment was nice, she was 30 minutes late to my appointment and then administered numbing treatment to another client in the middle of my appointment while I was mid sentence speaking about I was looking for. And then yelled over the "cubicle" to instruct the receptionist on how to finish application. She then proceeded to wear the same gloves she used for my procedure on as the ones she had one while touching the refrigerator that stores the product and iPad to take my photo before she started. This is poor training and careless for a medical professional. I honestly would have walked out if I hadn't placed a $100 deposit. I was just overwhelmed by the bizzare-ness of it all I didn't even ask if this was refundable. The product has not set in so it too early to comment if the placement and quality of the work is acceptable, but the experience was enough to ensure I don't return. If I could give zero stars I would. The only positive I have to say is the receptionist was super nice and friendly and very informative. read more

I had my lips filled with Versa+ almost a month ago. I told them I wanted my lips just slightly fuller and evenly filled, since my lips were already even. The tech talked me into using the last bit of the syringe to give me a pout on the bottom lip. I had never had my lips filled, so I trusted her judgement. Well the ""pout" is too far to the left and so not only is my bottom lip way bigger than my top lip, but it is also lopsided. I reached out to them about a week later and they said I have to wait the full 14 days to make sure there is no swelling left, which made sense. I asked once I get to that point, what are my options and was told another filler would be $499 unless they are having a sale. The $299 sale was only for new clients. I told them that I would wait to see if the lips evened out, but it would be extremely disappointing if they charged me full price for another syringe. Fast forward to 3 weeks after the procedure and the lips are still uneven. I called and they suggested a top lip flip may resolve the problem. I went in and met with the same tech that filled my lips (Jen at International Mall) and she could see where the lips were uneven but said it wasn't to the point that she would suggest correction. I asked if they would honor another syringe at $299 to even out the bottom lip and fill the top equal to the bottom and she said no. It is on sale for $379. I did have her do the lip flip for $60 and it helped slightly, but not enough that I enjoy my lips. I can't wear lipstick because then it is extremely noticeable how lopsided my bottom lip is. It's frustrating that they aren't honoring this as an add-on syringe when there is an issue with the way it looks that was brought to their attention right away. I'm not asking them to fix it for free. I will attempt one more time for them to honor the $299 syringe. If they will not, then I will have to go somewhere else for them to fix this. If I have to pay full price then I might as well go somewhere else. ***Update*** 11/26/19 After getting a manager involved, they have agreed to honor the $299 for an additional syringe to even out my lips. I will have to wait the 14 days since having the lip flip done, so I will update after my next appointment on December 6th. read more

Came into the facility with UNEVEN lips and walked out with UNEVEN lips. I called and spoke to a manager and she explains how my lips were lips were uneven to begin with. I explained to her that women with uneven breasts do not come out of surgery with uneven breasts. The whole point is to fix the problem. read more

Unfortunately, with one of my laser hair removal appointments, the technician burned my tattoo which caused it to fade in color and quality. When I asked the owner/ manager if I could have some sort of refund, to simply pay to fix my tattoo, she stopped responding to me. I visited for a consult and the PA who saw me was wearing a poorly fitting cloth mask. She told me when I asked that she was not vaccinated, but had recovered from Covid and tested frequently. After 10 minutes of explaining different injectables she had drawn up an injection, even after I told her I hadn't signed a consent, and when I decided to 'think about it' she injected it back into the bottle. At no time did she wash her hands, but had gloves on when I walked in. I gave 3 stars because the staff was friendly, the place looked clean, and it was easy to get an appointment, but the other issues were concerning. I also asked if there were any specials and she failed to mention the 1st time visitor $50 off promotion. Caveat emptor. read more

Honestly if I could give it negative stars I would. I had an appointment last week for filler in my lips, dysport, and a dermaplanning. I first did dermaplanning and thought it was weird she didn't do a facial with the dermaplanning as that's what I'm used to. But the next day when I actually looked at my face omg I was all scraped up, honestly I can't believe how horrible my experience was there. Not even to mention how messed up my lips and face are from the injections. I would never go here nor recommend them to anyone. And the worst part about it was the lack of customer service and support even after sending my photos. I have been going there for almost 2 years. most of the injectors are well trained and have been doing various facial fillers and botox for years. I had 1 poor experience with a girl who just was a little too deep and left some bruising about a year ago. she no longer works at this location and or for them. for the last year i have been consistently going to jess. in fact the vary 1st time i had my lips done, she did them. i was scared shit less because i didn't want it to look obvious! she did an awesome job! so natural and really put me at ease. she just recently did them again and once again they look awesome. full and not duck like. she does my botox also and i rarely have bruising and ive never had to come back for a touch up:) i have a very hectic schedule and have to cancel and reschedule a lot and they are very easy going about making that happen and working around my schedule. AVOID - RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN! DO NOT GO HERE. I have used one of their other locations and loved the results. What it really boils down to is their employees. International Plaza may have a beautiful location, BUT their injector (Jessica) is AWFUL, rude, has no clue what she is doing, and either needs to be seriously retrained or fired. If even ONE person reads this review and saves their face by going somewhere else, I'll be happy. Instead of going to the usual Venus I go to, I went to this one because I was shopping at IP and getting ready to go on a vacation. HOW I WISH I could go back to that day and do differently. I walked in and it's very nice, BUT, the two women working (receptionist and injector) were both seated and busy on their phones. This should've been my first clue to RUN, but I stayed. I ignored the red-flag feeling because Venus has become a brand I trust and I figured my experience wouldn't be a lesser one. WRONG. I was getting Juvederm Ultra Plus into my my naso-labial folds. Jessica got everything prepped and then, she stuck me and it felt like she pushed a whole lot into one space. I'd had Juvederm once before and the other injector has a real technique; she slowly sort of went up and down. This time, I could feel it, viscous and cold, and it just sat there. She moved to the other side and did the same thing, but said I needed way less on that side. It was all over very fast. This only being my second Juvederm experience, I figured.... okay, maybe everyone has different techniques. I looked into the mirror and saw one, long, narrow lump above the fold (fold still totally there). When I mentioned this, she reached into my mouth and VERY roughly pushed and rubbed it on that side. Then, she said it had been like that before.(I KNOW MY FACE, I have tons of photos I can prove that it was NOT like that before.) I voiced again, to her, that it didn't look right. She told me it was just swollen. I told her it wasn't like that last time I had it done.... she suggested I put some more into my cheeks. I said I wasn't doing that. (Why would I let her do that after what I had just experienced?) And then, she got kind of rude and said, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" She told me I could come back there in a few days and have her look at it or just go to my usual location and have them look at it. She did not seem AT ALL concerned. She was very flippant. I got up, paid, left. I iced it. I rubbed it with Arnica gel when I got home. I had a huge, hard, narrow lump of Juvederm sticking out above my fold. :( It felt like a ridge. I slept on my back, I did everything I could. The swelling did go down *some*, but there was still this long lump in one side of my face and it seemed like the whole lower half of my face looked worse, moved different, because of it. Long story kept as short as possible - I went to my wonderful previous injector and asked for help. She had me take oral Arnica and showed me how to rub it, then the swelling went down a little more and I got re-injected. My previous injector's help made a big improvement, but I am still not happy. I have at least one weird lump that I didn't have before. I hate it. I don't know if it's from the poor injector (Jessica) or the Juvederm has migrated. It looks like something has settled in a bad spot in my face and it makes me feel like it has aged me. You can totally see it in photos. I am self-conscious over it. It might not be a huge thing to someone else, but it's a huge thing to me personally because it's my face. I have also emailed Venus twice and gotten no response. I will update this if/when I do. I have been getting my lips done here for a couple of years now and I've had nothing but a positive experience. A previous injector left me with a lump in my lip but Nadine fixed it and now I would never let anyone else touch my lips but her. She does them to perfection and I highly recommend her if you're looking for amazing lips. She listens to your wants and makes it happen. People always ask me who does my lips because they look so good, and the few that have finally taken the plunge to get theirs done I made them book with Nadine and they are all extremely happy too. Even one that went to a plastic surgeon to get hers done came here afterwards and preferred this place. It's always clean in there and very professional. I love that they always have specials, it makes me go more for sure lol. They also have a good rewards program if you buy the products at regular price. I have been a client for many years. (Nadine and Mary Z. are the best.) I started going to Venus because of the convenience of being able to walk in without an appointment. On the company website it says, "Convenience: Open Mall hours 7 days per week, no appointment necessary. We cater to you and deliver results for unparalleled client satisfaction." However,I walked in on a Saturday at 5:05 PM to use a complimentary gift certificate for being a long term client, and was told that the injector was too busy and she had to leave at 5:30 PM to pick up her son. I reminded the receptionist that the hours listed on the Google website say business hours are until 6:00 PM Sunday - Saturday. The receptionist went back to talk to the injector, and returned saying that the injector would not be finished with her client until 5:45 PM. I said that it was no problem for me to wait and I wouldn't mind numbing the injection areas so that it would be less time consuming for the injector. The receptionist went back to tell the injector. A few minutes later, the injector (identified as being Jennifer Carney), came out to the waiting area and in a raised, hostile voice "I have to pick up my son. He doesn't have a ride. I need to leave at 5:45 PM." I said, "But your hours are until 6:00 PM. Will you extend the gift certificate's expiration until Monday?" and she said "No." So I said, "Well then I will wait until your finished." She picked up the phone and disappeared into the back. The receptionist turned to me and said, "It is best that you make an appointment. The injectors don't normally stay until past 5:30 PM." This is completely opposite of what the is listed on the website. After a few minutes, I walked out unsatisfied because of Jennifer's unprofessionalism. I found the whole experience to be poor, especially since I was coming in using a gift certificate from the company thanking me for being valuable client. It is experiences like this that makes businesses lose VIP customers.
