Jade is the BEST for facials! I struggle with acne and scarring and have gotten a couple of diamond facials with Jade and she knows exactly how to treat my problem spots. To keep this short & sweet.. if you're looking for a place you can trust it's skin science. I've been coming since February monthly. Kayla did my first facial and then i started seeing Paige. I tried Skin Science through the Groupon they put out last week. I called and was able to squeeze in the same day. The staff was kind upon check-in and assessment, as well as just friendly in general making this a comfortable first-time experience. I believe my skin guru was Carrie (sp?). She gave me a very thorough assessment to begin, and told me both the good areas, and areas I could improve upon with my skin care. I am fair and freckly, so she took that into account and really listened to my concerns about my skin, and what my areas of self-consciousness were. I appreciated her pleasant and professional demeanor, as well as her gentle touch with my microderm and peel. Carrie was knowledgable about the products and really helped me determine the products I was using and what I could add to it to achieve my goals. I felt that she genuinely cared about me, my regimen, and how to work with a few new products. I trusted her in that she was not there to sell me anything, but to counsel me on my skin care goals. I purchased both the Vitamin C set and the Retinol, which in the few days since I have seen a difference in my skin's health. I also purchased the membership to go monthly at a discount. This way I can afford to continue with them, and also not break the bank. Looking forward to my next visit! This is near a bunch of fun, local restaurants - make an afternoon out of it! read more

Horrible experience with them. They really didn't cooperate. I tried to call them many times to cancel my membership because I'm pregnant and my obgyn didn't allow me to do any treatment. But they keep charge my credit card until now. It's been three months since I ask them nicely to cancel my membership. read more

Having recently moved to Tampa, I knew one of the first things I had to do was find a knowledgeable and reputable esthetician and get my skin in check after years of abuse/damage caused by melasma, harsh acne treatments, etc. I discovered Skin Science and I'm so happy it's the first place I tried. I don't ever need to go anywhere else. Kerri is unbelievably informative and knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her craft. I love this place and Suzanne is the best. She's as sweet as can be and truly cares about her clients. She has transformed my skin and it looks a million times better by doing monthly peels and microdermabrasion. She offers products that are helpful, but she's never pushy like some places I've been to in the past. Her product line (Glo Therapeutics) is great. I went for the microdermabrasion and chemical peel introductory price and the facial itself was great. I really liked the technology they used to take pictures of your skin and analyze it. The only thing I didn't like was that the facial room was bright and the music wasn't relaxing at all so it was different than what I expected. Also, the esthetician was very nice and helpful but she talked most of the time (aside from giving me informative info) so that wasn't relaxing either. Tara is the best! Knowledgeable, professional and very welcoming. I went here after reading reviews from lots of places. After just the consultation, Tara had given me some great suggestions for my skin care routine and suggested a chemical peel and microdermabrasion. After the first treatment my skin felt so smooth! She looked over the products I currently use and decided on what to continue using so it wouldn't interfere with the treatment. I've been for a 2nd treatment already and she remembered what she did the 1st time and ensured I got the best price. This visit she recommended starting new skin care products. She is great at recommending low cost products to incorporate into your skincare routine but also knowing when it's worth it to spend the extra money. I have some acne scaring and hyper pigmentation and I can already see some improvement. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for skin care in the south Tampa area!! read more

I have had a membership for the microdermabrasion and peel for about 8 months and I absolutely love it. It worth every penny. I usually go to Kirsten but have also been to Kerri before. Both are seriously amazing! Every time I go, Kirsten does something a little different so as to change it up each time. My skin definitely looks and feels better. They always have very knowledgeable responses to any skincare question that I have and also have no issue and actually recommend looking at the products you currently use and assess if they are working out best for your skin.
