During a recent storm, we a had very large branch fall from a tree in our backyard. The branch was…read morethe size of a small tree and was too much for us to handle on our own. We called Kelly Landscaping. They came right away for an estimate and gave us a very fair price. We were able to schedule within just a few days. There were two men on the job and they were so quick and efficient! They didn't drag any large equipment into our backyard to sully it. They cut everything and hauled it by hand to their trailer parked out front. When they were done cutting, they raked all the small bits and hauled it away in a trash barrel. To finish it off, they brought out a leaf blower to disperse all the the shaving from the chainsaw. By the time they were done, there was no sign of the branch or that they had been there! I really appreciated their efficiency and attention to detail, and all for a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Eric and his crew were courteous and professional and did a great job in implementing my plan with some good suggestions they made to it. It is nearly the height of the floor of my house, and has a sitting wall and a stone countertop, and a step to the ground. Eric re-graded and re-seeded my yard and did a good job with that too. The project came in at their bid amount, and they worked diligently to get this done in 2-3 weeks. I couldn't be more pleased! I'll see if I need to add any shade to this space this year, and will add some landscaping too. So, I am happy to have a large and useable outdoor space as part of my home now and plan on spending a lot more time enjoying the outdoors there this year. Tom W.

Had them install concrete edging. Have seen this in a few other places and thought it was very…read morenice. I don't think these guys installed it though. Overall the product I think is good but, installation was pretty sloppy and unprofessional in my opinion. When they cut the sod out they left lots of gaps around edging that will have to be filled in and reseeded. There was spilled concrete in the grass all around the yard, color of concrete is not even, and it seems the edging should be deeper in the ground hope it will settle. Lots of excess concrete inside edging too, I guess we will just try and cover it up. In the spring we found some of the edging seemed to dissolve. We called them, and they did return and fix the issue no charge. Overall it's going on our third summer and we're very happy with the product! So I'm bumping review from 3 stars to 4

I could not ask for a better result. They were amazing. The event went very well…read more They accomplished in just over five hours what would have taken me several days even with renting a very high lift at considerable cost. I've cut down a lot of trees myself all without incident so I can typically discern the level of skill of someone with a chainsaw - and know when to run away. Truthfully, this was a very difficult job so my very wise wife encouraged me to hire someone for this one. I'm glad I listened. The tree was 85' high, 70 years old, 46" diameter two feet off the ground and over 3' wide many feet up the trunk. Its limbs were partly over our house, my neighbor's house and completely over our newly roofed shed. The neighborhood high voltage uninsulated power lines ran within a few feet of the back of the tree. Our power service line to the house, the TV cable and internet fiber lines actually all ran through the tree from the pole to the house. They coordinated with the power company to disconnect the power line to avoid damage and they lowered the other cables as much as possible. They also had protective covers for the cables on the ground that could not be disconnected. Since so much of the tree was over structures I believed some potential for damage was possible. I'm pleased and amazed that virtually nothing was damaged. This was a $3,000 job and I was very happy to write the check. They were professional in appearance and behavior, were responsive with scheduling and calls, prompt onsite, presented documented insurance with their quote which was well beyond adequate, were highly skilled and very well equipped with several trucks and large machines onsite. The five-man crew included a professional Arborist, were well organized, worked together effectively, practiced professional-level safety techniques for themselves and those of us watching. It was quickly clear I had made the right choice considering other quotes were both much higher and a little lower. I will definitely recommend them as my first choice to anyone needing the kinds of services they provide. I hope this review helps you make a good choice to use them for your needs.

An incredible company filled with so much heart and talent!…read moreThey've always cared for our yard with such quality and pride, and this year when we started expanding our home, we turned to them for both hardscape and landscape. They came prepared with thoughtful designs and creative touches that went beyond what we imagined. Then life took an unexpected turn--I became sick and needed to redirect much of our budget toward medical and travel costs. We decided to pause part of the project, but even with just half the plan moving forward, they poured their hearts into every detail. Their kindness, understanding, and faith truly showed through their work. What they created is absolutely beautiful, and it means more to us than they'll ever know. We can't wait to see them finish what they started. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

He routinely introduced plants that were not asked for while not performing services that we asked for. Example: left with fish, waterplants, and other things that we had not asked for while the service we asked for (weeding, seeding, aeration) was never done. We asked for the water plants to be taken out and instead lopped off the top of the plants leaving the roots. 3 months later everything was back AND we paid for the labor both times. Great guy, but really doesn't check with customers first once he has you in a service contract.
