A very friendly expert in the field in Brandon, Fl told me the reason for my horrible experiences at numerous Women's Care facilities is due to how the company is owned and pushing patients for numbers to be met. He worked closely with Women's Care previously and succeeded further to open his own private practice, hence the tip he gave me about this specific business. *I had fibroids and endometriosis and they were trying to put me on a chemically induced menopause drug called Lupron at only 29 years of age with no children yet*. They told me if I didn't get on these drugs, I would potentially run the risk of my uterus being "Frankensteined". 3 doctors later, an MRI & news that if I were to take Lupron to "shrink" my 10 cm fibroid, I would have lost my hair and gone through menopause temporarily (hoping my period would come back) and go through absolute hell and it wouldn't have shrank because my fibroid was pedunculated.. An expert told me that Lupron doesn't shrink pedunculated fibroids. I do not believe this practice is professional enough or has expertise in such odd cases like myself. If you have endo/ fibroids go to Dr. Michael Stine in Brandon, Fl. He might be expensive but he is worth the relief you will get knowing the surgery you may need will be taken care of in the RIGHT hands who has done thousands of these surgeries, especially with odd cases like mine. Please god do not go to the Women's care with your business!!!!!!! They are pushing big pharma on you & will not diagnose you properly.

Also, if scheduled for a procedure, you are required to pay for that up front and in FULL as well before even being billed to insurance. Billing manager, Kim is very rude and Robin, office manager will not allow any patient to be seen unless total balance of bills are paid up front, no payment plan or exceptions made. I would not recommend this office.

I have been with the ladies at Contemporary Women's Care for over 8 years. The prenatal care I…read morereceived from both the midwives and doctors went above and beyond. They also deliver at Morton Plant, which was the best hospital for labor and delivery. They will actually allow you to have a water birth at the hospital. I delivered both of my children naturally that way, and I cannot say enough positive things about my midwives. They have two office, but I always preferred the Seminole one. Rosa is the first smiling face you see when you walk in. She is the best. Even after both of my pregnancies, she asks about my children and how they are doing. I have continued with Dr. Ritter, Dr. Fosnot, and Dr. Young because they are patient and attentive. Their bedside manner is top notch and they are very knowledgeable. I have recommended Contemporary Women's Care to many friends; they have all had similar experiences as well.

All she knew how to say was "birth control" and wasn't willing to ask any details. Personally I don't wanna take birth control but she didn't care to ask why I didn't wanna take it just said that me not taking it was why I was having issues. Didn't ask me if I had any other questions (which I did) but instead shoved an IUD pamphlet down my throat and was more concerned about me forgetting it and not taking it home. I have insurance but it wasn't covering this appointment and she even made a comment to my mother who also had an appointment that she couldn't answer some of my moms questions unless she made another appointment because she didn't have time and it was a different topic. Then questioned my mom about our insurance. Don't recommend and also I payed $225 for nothing. after my exam was done she simply tapped on the IUD pamphlet and said don't forget it and walked out. I didn't even know if I was done or not but got up and left anyways because wtf. As someone that just started going to a gyno this honestly left a horrible impression and I refuse to go back here. Thanks for nothing ;)

She claimed that I had a uterine polyp and stated "only old people get those". Not sure what someone is supposed to do with that information besides worry. Mind you, I am 28 years old. MIND YOU, I followed up with the medical director of the same clinic in the St Pete office and he stated that I did not have a uterine polyp. So she had me worry for absolutely no reason. I asked what the next step would be after an unsuccessful D&C performed by her. She stated "I'm not sure, I only do abortions". As a doctor, I would expect you to know what the next steps are. She couldn't remember my name and asked a tech what my name was in front of me. I do not recommend ANY female be seen by her unless they aspire to be anxious and worry. A provider in this specific field should be compassionate and have knowledge on what they're executing. The medical director is amazing, he is located in their St. Pete office. Kay the ultrasound tech is also amazing. As well as their nurse Laura. If you go to the Clearwater site, and see Dr. Rodriguez. Run for your life.
