Asit is the vendor I brag about to everyone. At the initial visit, he sat us down and walked us through diamond types, told us what was realistic and what wasn't. He never made us feel pressured to buy from him and objectively gave us all of the information we needed to make an informed decision. He did SUCH a beautiful job with both my ring and my husband's - especially given how custom and intricate both of ours were. For mine, I wanted a single pear shaped diamond on a platinum band for my engagement ring and then two wedding bands to flank the engagement band. He even suggested the idea of matching the number of stones to our wedding date for my ring. When I went through major fluctuations in ring sizing (from a size 7 to size 5.5 over one year), he remade mine at no additional charge, even though it took a few times to get the size just right. My husband's ring was a thinner 7mm platinum band that had our proposal 3D engraved onto it. This was, by far, one of the most complicated designs I'd ever seen for a ring and it took Asit 4 months of rendering, re-rendering and edits to get right, but he got it done within schedule. Together, we came up with plans to create a three-stone ring with a pear center stone and two pear side stones in a gold setting for the engagement ring, along with a beautiful gold wedding band that consisted of a mix of baguette, round, pear, and marquise diamonds inspired by Asit's original suggestions of different shaped side stones. Asit provides personalized diamond showings, ring sketches by a professional artist, 3D renderings, and wax molds of the real thing as part of the experience. Because I still wanted the element of surprise, I let the boys take off with my big list of ideas. I admit I did look at the sketches and made my own little edits because I couldn't help myself. However, my fiancé was part of the entire process, and you could tell he enjoyed every step because of Asit. I knew he was really nervous about planning the engagement and making sure that the ring was just right, but Asit was able to make the process comfortable and easy for him. It was evident there was a spark of bromance in the air because they were texting, calling, and having cute secret meetings. It was super cute and I almost loved witnessing their relationship grow more than designing the ring.
